Looks like this is a Facebook issue. For some reason even if I use !important, the frame ignores it all. Sigh…

Well I guess that just breaks everything… bah!

Not sure why, but no matter what I did, the child content was displaying on the parent “portal” page. But only if the client was logged in. Also the content was displaying all the way above the <link> elements of the head of my document.

So I removed

_e($page->post_content);

to solve that problem.

Or maybe instead of using some php script, I just go with some sIFR replacement. Hmmm… that means I need to learn how to use onRelease. ??

I’ll report back here what I find as far as the customization of the cu3er plugin goes for other people searching this topic.

I think I was being hard headed. I’m going to try and see if I can tweak that plugin. The creator of the original app said that I should be able to hard code the specific categories and/or custom keys within the config.php file delivered with that plugin.

Upon reviewing it, it looks somewhat straightforward. If I can get it to pull my own custom keys and whatnot, then I’ll investigate the title-to-image conversion method as well.

Yep, that’s the plugin that I was referring to. However, it isn’t much more useful than the original app. It only renders images into it’s slideshow, and they have to be tied to the content of the post. It won’t search for custom keys (as far as I can tell) and it MUST have an image tied to it. I want just the headline.

Yes, I guess I assumed that we needed the entire folder in the themes directory. Not sure where I got that idea.

I’m having this same issue. 7 months later. Anybody with knowledge of a fix or what we messed up out there?
