In reply to: Saving nav menu crashes serverSame problem for me I think. Looks like there is a bug that is being examined (?) – but is there a fix, now?

In reply to: Menu TimeoutI am having the same problem . . I think I’m not as tech-savvy as you guys – could anyone please provide a fairly simple guide/instructions on how to make or instruct the execution time changes?
Thanks in advance.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: WP 3.0 Menu – big Save Menu problemBasically still have this problem – now compounded by uploading the WP site and working online. Trying to recreate the offline/local menu structure, I’m about 3/4 way through and just cannot save the incremental changes to the menu – saving starts but never completes until the whole menu-admin.php page falls over and I have to start again.
I am removing all those long Descriptions, but it doesn’t help. ??All suggestions very welcome. Thanks.
I have had to recreate all the Datafeedr Ad groups and ads online. Tried copying and pasting the offline code into the online SQL field, but didn’t work.

In reply to: Latest posts from specific category on static page?I’d like to do the same, maybe from a tagged post rather than a category.
Looking at the online SQL table wp_options, the ad groups seem correctly listed in “widget_dfrads-widget” and the groups seem fully ‘there’ in “dfrads” – the group index/key refs are there and properly correlate between the two . . . but the ads don’t appear on-screen.
They’re also not visible in Control Panel>Tools>Datafeedr Random Ads (none are)

In reply to: no-page menu itemTo answer my own question. The answer is . .
Using Appearance>Menus,create a Custom Links item with the URL asjavascript: void(0);
Give it a name, Add it to the menu.
Then add actual pages / page links under that as child items.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: TwentyTen top (site) imageaha !! Thanks ??

In reply to: TwentyTen top (site) imageThanks, but neither solution is appropriate.
TwentyTen has one image for the whole site as part of the design. That’s the image I want to be unique/different for each page.
The featured image appears below the top ‘site’ image, after the navigation and h1 heading etc. Whilst that’s very easy to set for each page, it’s not the ‘site’ headline image.
Can I alter the code so that the easy-to-change-for-every-page featured image actually appears in/becomes the ‘site’ image location. Just change a CSS tag or PHP call, maybe?
