In reply to: Random order blog postsHello everybody!
Thanks for your help, I have never really had a good experience in a forum, but I think here I found a good one! ??
@helvetica123
(I think) I have now turned off the HTML cache with the following code: I Placed it in the header.php
<meta http-equiv=”Cache-Control” content=”no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate”>
<meta http-equiv=”Pragma” content=”no-cache”>
<meta http-equiv=”Expires” content=”0″>If I now use one of the two codes from @4ever16 in the functions.php, the home page https://makerstars.org/ is no longer accessible (404 error). Unfortunately, the posts are still not randomized…
Have I done something wrong? Does the code have to be in a certain place or do I have to add something? Sorry, with PHP I really still have trouble… :/

Thanks for your answer!
I was not aware of that. Unfortunately, this half year support for the template has already passed. Since I have tried a lot, I thought you might be able to help.Forum: Developing with WordPress
In reply to: Random order blog postsThank you @sterndata for your answer!
No, the website speed is more important to us after all, especially since it is already slow…. If this is the only way, we will do without it.
Likewise, it would be important for us to keep the design and that rules out most plugins…. :/Forum: Developing with WordPress
In reply to: Random order blog postsHey! @4ever16
thanks a lot for your time, i really appreciate it…. I have now inserted the codes, but unfortunately it still does not want to work…. Do I have to insert them at a certain place in Functions.php? As far as I know not really?

Thanks a lot for your super help!
Unfortunately I’m on the tube right now, I have inserted the code in functions.php, but it has not changed anything. I assume I have inserted it in the wrong place?Where exactly should I place it?
Thank you very much!

In reply to: Random order blog posts@4ever16 We use the Peggi child theme.
These are individual posts that we display on one page/category for overview. (See the link above)

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately neither worked as it either changed the template or only worked for a “border section”…. :/
