In reply to: [WPMobile.App] Translation in menu/toolbarThanks for the tip. I did try adding the language switcher after the menu. Result: yes, the menu, etc changed languages, but I remained on the EN page (or wherever I started). Close, but not quite right yet. I’m trying to change the menu to the other language, and land on the other language “page” on the website.
This is a start at least.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Contact Form 7] File attachments no longer included with emailFinally: it works. I had added the extension for drag-and-drop multiple files. There was an option: send attachments as links. After setting up SMTP mail and unchecking the box, attachments come as expected.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] File attachments no longer included with emailI have discovered that one of my sites sends attachments correctly. Email for this site is set up as a Google Workspace, separate from my hosting. The site that doesn’t send attachments is using the default setup for the hosting service. Tomorrow I will set that site up to use SMTP. I have the WP Mail SMTP — also the free/lite version. Will report back.
interesting thing is the site that works does use the plugin. The difference is what service handles mail itselfForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Contact Form 7] File attachments no longer included with emailStephen: I’m not sure if I am using SMTP –or how to determine that.
I use the plugin on 2 multisite networks. Same theme, same server, same version of the plugin, same version of WordPress. I will do a comparison of plugins in use. I know that they use different caching plugins. But, most plugins are the same.
If I figure it out, I’ll post the info here.

In reply to: [WPMobile.App] Homepage ConfigureI finally understand the translation section. I am having a bit of trouble testing, as my phone is set for English (the initial language), so I have to get others with phones set up for spanish and french to test some of this for me.
Thanks for the pointers. Now, if I could get notifications to actually notify me, all would be good.
I see this marked as “Resolved” — but no resolution posted. Anyone know what to do?
Same issue — my error log is so full of these errors, I can’t even find errors I need to address.

In reply to: [MultilingualPress] 4 Years not updated!I have had to apply a couple of small patches to the V2 MLP to make it work under PHP 8, etc. But, I since some of my sites still use V2, I guess it still counts. Some of our sites use the newer (V4) paid version of this plugin which is more efficient.
V2 is not compatible with the block editor. The paid version is.

In reply to: [MultilingualPress] UNMAINTAINED Plugin – sorry this is soThis looks very interesting. One question: This plugin will relate all blogs in a single Multisite, correct? I ask only because I have one of my multilingual multisites where there are a couple of “networks” — 5 linked sites, and another 3 linked sites (separate); I could reconfigure the multisite installation and split it up, of course.
Just wondering.
Doesn’t help. The user in question: if you use the username (nicename) the appropriate page (archive) is displayed. If you use any valid user id as the number, it’s not found. I have this happening in many WordPress sites.
Perhaps it has to do with not using the plain permalink structure. But, who in their right mind would use that?
I would like to change the setting for the link — but that seems baked in with JetPack.
If I use a plugin, then my user would want is directed to home page.
