In reply to: [MultilingualPress] Work with Divi (Elegant themes)I use the older interface for Builder; don’t know if I can get an old enough Builder version to try that. MLP states that MLP2 is not compatible with various page builders. I’m waiting to see if they can make v3 work with Page Builders before I give it a try.
In my case, posts (no builder) seem to work ok, but pages which use the builder don’t work.

In reply to: [MultilingualPress] Work with Divi (Elegant themes)MLP2 is not compatible with the Divi Builder. It works fine for situations such as routine posts where you don’t use the builder.
Previously it seemed to work with Divi [Builder]. I’m not sure if it’s a Divi change or a change in MLP.
I don’t speak for either MLP or ElegantThemes. I’m just a frustrated user who is too deep in to back out now..

In reply to: [MultilingualPress] Gutenberg SupportI have the Classic Editor plugin installed and activated. However, I use Divi and have pages built with Divi Builder. I can no longer make drafts in other languages. I believe I could not long ago, since I built an entire network of sites in 4 languages, using Divi and MLP.
I wouldn’t mind moving to version 3, but there seems to be no way to migrate, and these sites are simply to large and complex to do by hand. We would have to start over it seems. And, is MLP 3 compatible with page builders?

In reply to: [MultilingualPress] MLP 2 not compatible with ElementorI am having problems with Divi Builder as well… is this a page builder problem?
I set up a debug log.
It appears that the extract is in a loop: I can find the same image (a jpg) added to the queue at least 3 times.
sounds similar to my issues.
I would love to have this work.

PDF Image GeneratorIt’s in the WordPress plugin repository. It hasn’t been updated in a while, and it is functioning with 4.9.x. Still, it does exactly what I needed on that website.

In reply to: pdf file link uses link not thumbnail@sterndata I did find one of the PDF plugins on the GoDaddy hosted site. So — that seems to be the answer to why the PDF preview, etc works better on that host.

In reply to: pdf file link uses link not thumbnailSteve — that ticket does describe the behavior I see on Pair and MAMP — but, on GoDaddy, I get the thumbnail and it gets inserted, just as one would want it to. How did GoDaddy make it work I wonder?

I finally see the french po file.
Is there are starter po file for spanish? I certainly cannot do all of the translation, but I can start on it…
Thank you. I have the language set in the spanish and french sites. It still reads “Read in:” in the french site. It does not translate.
Spanish, I believe would be “Leer en:”
is there a language file for french? (po)? I see language files in my plugin folder for Greek, Russian and Dutch (NL). But none for spanish or french.

In reply to: [MultilingualPress] not creating featured image links correctly1. fails for all posts and pages being copied to this site. We have several sites by language (en, es, fr, it, pl, pt). The function seems to work when copying (creating a draft) in all other situations: en->es, es->en, en->pt, etc all work; on anysite->fr is broken.
2. the image file is not copied to the target site: it’s not in the file system and it’s not listed in the media library (WP)
My guess is that the /fr site has some sort of corruption; I tried removing it from the relationships with the other sites and then re-instating it, but that did no good.
