I cannot figure out how to reproduce it at will… in this network the problem is copying to the /fr site from any other site. It happens only in this instance.

The image does not seem to be copied. I cannot find it in the files for the target site.

I opened another question on this, but I have the same problem with one of many sites. Your URL is/was being written incorrectly: /2016/02/201602photo.jpg when it should be /2016/02/photo.jpg

I tried adding this code and turning on Yoast (WordPress SEO); my result was that I no longer get the message, but I also don’t get the draft saved in the other language.

Or am I seeing a different problem? With WordPress SEO turned on, I can no longer created the drafts in other languages — I get the error referenced above. When I added your code, I get no error, but neither do I get the draft for translation created in the other language site.

We can close this one. It seems that I had left the site language set to English for all sites in the General Settings. Once I had sites with other languages as the site language, the option appeared.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin; I’ve tried reinstalling WP. No luck. Is there a setting somewhere that affects this?

Resolved by reinstalling WordPress.

This particular multisite has done this before. No idea why.

I’m having the same issue… multisite installation.

I have checked the xml-rpc, etc and all of that is correct. It was working prior to this last update.

I am still not getting images, or even links.

I see that html support is improved, but not really working. Now the images I have embedded in the description vanish completely (before they we visible as html of the links) and coded links show the URL format, not the text of the link.

I don’t believe the settings are in any way affected by .htaccess — and the only way php.ini gets involved is if it sets the individual upload file size smaller than you allow in WP/Multisite.

I have a similar issue: I update the settings for Space Quota and file upload size and it seems to have no effect. AND, it decides that my primary site must be using all of the space for the entire multisite.

I don’t have a solution, but I have the same or a similar issue. I’m thinking something is broken in the database, or how the options/database get updated.

I added “autolink=”yes” to the [description] and that seems to work for “auto-linkify”
