mine are in the main content area – using shortcodes.
Even when I try to use the “button” to add a calendar, it uses the shortcode.
Ah. got it. Thanks

In reply to: [Simple Calendar - Google Calendar Plugin] 3.0 html support and stylingSame problem: My calendar events sometimes contain html; in the old v2.4 this displayed very nicely in the description. I have added html=”yes” to description, but I still see the raw html.
I have the same issue. I’ll try your work-around until this is resolved by the developers.

In reply to: how to change header.php site file in a multisite network?1. If you use child themes, then you create 2 child themes — one for each site.
2. if the logo is set in the theme settings somewhere, like maybe under Customize, you simply upload a different logo in each [sub]site.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Media library: many items brokenYes it was moved… at least twice.
Interesting enough, I cloned the site (Cloner plugin from WPMU Dev) so I could have a copy to work on. The act of cloning it cleared up the problem.
I’m pretty sure it was the postmeta that was all out of kilter. But, not it all works.

In reply to: Jetpack – Permalinks – "Something has gotten mixed up!"Just FYI for non Godaddy-managed folks:
I host elsewhere (pair.com); I tried the deactivate/activate sequence after upgrading WP and updating Jetpack. That seems to have cured it for me. But, this is on an extensive multisite and I had to reconnect each site once I had activated Jetpack again.
Looks like my hosting is not set up for multiple certificates for a single IP. So, I’ll go the route of pulling it out of Multisite and into it’s own WP install.
Thanks.
Now to find those “terms of use” and see if I can do it.

In reply to: Can Multisite acheive this?If I understand correctly, then, Yes — multisite has the functionality. But you would use different terminology.
Install using a subdirectory structure
main site is the top page
each section is actually a subsite
only Superadmin (network admin) can manage the network and the top site
each subsite has its own administratorsome of the particulars (sidebars, logo, secondary menu) are set up using the theme.

In reply to: [Our Team by WooThemes] Images do not resizeI see this is 3 months old, but I too am using Canvas, and the size parameter is completely ignored. I thought that using it with a Wootheme would make things work more smoothly.

In reply to: [Radiate] Scaling headerwould it help to add background-size: cover to the Custom CSS? I’ve had good luck with that approach.

In reply to: [Bushwick] mobile layout glitchyI too have (had) the iPhone display issue… used the display:none; fix and it works fine. But, I’m not sure this is the best way to fix this.

In reply to: cannot login one site only multisite subdirectory installDavid: I had disabled all plugins specific to the problem site [this multisite hosts about 10 production sites, and I was trying to avoid breaking the other sites]. I found 2 plugins that were enabled on multiple sites but which had been updated between the time I could login and the time I could not login. I had to move them out of the plugin directory to disable for the site. Then I could then login to the site.
I proceeded to reactivate these plugins, first by putting them back into the directory, and then activating on the site. Now, plugins are activated and I can login to the site. So, now I do not know which plugin (or combination of plugins) caused the problem since I could no longer break the login.
I think I’ll call this resolved — source of problem not solved, but issue itself resolved.
Thanks for the help and links.
