It’s still not working and have the latest version of the plugin.

Will this fix make it into the next update of the plugin?

I might add:

I tested all different settings in the theme customizer, to no avail.

Regenerate thumbnails works, but it regenerates to sizes which are different to what I have configured. Looks like the thumbnail sizes from the customizer settings are getting ignored.

Beside that, on the homepage the full width images are included anyway rather than the thumbnail images. This can also be viewed on the official demo, see the the Gtmetrix report for the demo: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/demo.gavick.com/YVXhVlYp

To me this looks like a bug.

Have you considered that maybe some people will gladly trade minor page load time differences for functionality/simplicity?

Obviously there’s not only some but rather a lot of people who like to increase their page load time. Just like most people prefer to follow the herd rather than making informed decisions.

Such a post would have saved me 30min of my life and thus would have had tremendous value.

PS: You’re plugin to display tables – only tables – includes more than twice as many CSS and JS files than a clean WordPress install. Looks like a new best practice to me ??

So that’s what happens when a bunch of designer with no SEO knowledge create a boilerplate theme for WordPress: Plenty of WP themes which lack basic SEO best practises.

At least they came to reason ??

Regarding your investigation: I know somebody from Google once stated there can be multiple H1 tags on a page, in case it makes sense.
I’d say having the blog title in H1 makes no sense because usually the post title simply is more relevant.

Check any website in a competitive niche which has a professional SEO agency taking care of their onpage SEO and you won’t see two H1 tags. This alone tells everything.

Just noticed that the 404 page sent a 200 ok header which is not cool at all :-/

Uninstalling this plugin now due to this issue and switching to “Related Posts” or “Contextual Related Posts”, we’ll see which one is better.

Using the plugin “Twenty Eleven Theme Extensions” I was able to over write the CSS:

#branding #searchform {
	display:none;
}
#branding .only-search + #access div {
	padding-right: 0px;
}

This solution is also upgrade safe.

Same here. Just landed on the plugin page and was skimming through the FAQ and changelog but didn’t see any mention of whether the plugin is capable of handling file attachments or not.

Same here, styles are gone when Minify is enabled in W3TC.

Workaround: Disable Minify in W3TC and install WP Minify instead. This works.
