WP Statistics does its job simply and beautifully and is easy to operate. I have been a happy user for years on several sites. But after the latest update (13.0.5) the graph part of “pages” statistics is no longer able to correctly find and display the most viewed pages in a period. And confusingly, the small date selection pop-up windows to set the period’s start and end are displayed with days in reverse order (SSFTWTM). As far as I remember, the list of “top pages” used to be sensitive to the choice of period. I am not sure of that, but obviously this would be useful. In any case, now it can give only the total number of visits per page since plugin installation.

More mysterious behavior: “Top 5 pages trends” in one of my sites is now dominated by links to unapproved comments to posts, and “Top pages” list is unable to group visits to a particular page together and instead lists separate counts for specific calling URLs containing arguments from facebook etc. (although I have selected “Strip URL Parameters”). “Top pages trends” in several bilingual sites are now only able to count pages in one of he languages although the “Top pages” is still able to collect data from pages in both languages. Weirdly, it is not the same language in all sites – in one site WPStatistics prefers Danish pages, in another, English. I am 99% sure that all of this used to be handled correctly (meaningfully) in previous plugin versions.

This is a great useful plugin, so I hope these are temporary glitches that will be gone after the next update ??

PS: here’s an example of a post with two authors – where obviously it would be very nice for both of the names to show in the byline: https://www.wisdom-in-process.com/2017/03/09/branching-apple-dialogue/
