In reply to: [Super Progressive Web Apps] Using Super PWA in Woo type ecommerceThank you for getting back to me. I have read the tutorial and it leaves me with a question —
If I have a website that contains a number of images — are you saying that in order for those images and the new ones that would replace them – it would be better to use the “manual cache” and not include the page(s) that contain frequently changing images?
The problem I have experienced is that if I have a page with freqently chaning images – the new images would not show up but the old one(s) would.
Would the solution mentioned above resolve that.
Also – in your dashboard for the Super PWA you had mentioned that if the Service Worker version number is changed it would cause the downloaded app to re-install the Service Worker when initialized again.
Have I understood that correctly? And would that solve the image difficulty mentioned above?
Thank you again for your help.

In reply to: [Super Progressive Web Apps] Updates to mobile app not workingHi,
Thank you for getting back to me.
I uninstalled the app from my test iphone and then re-installed it again – and now it works perfectly.
However, I can’t ask all our clients to do the same. It might be an iphone specific problem – at this time it seems to work well on Android. It woud seem that the SW is not refreshing on its own and thus the images are not updating.
Is there a script or plugin that would refresh or re-install the SW and thus solve this problem?
Thank you so much for all your help.
