In reply to: Database Update required causes server error@otto42 I have asked for this so I can share it with you.
@toppahattu I have also asked this from the hosts.
I will let you know what they say.
Thanks you for your help.
Incidently, the hosts said try deactivating all the plugins and see it that gets you past the issue. Trouble is, I dont want to get past the issue I want to solve the issue, I want the database versions to be correct?!
Also when I renamed the plugins folder to deactivate them, nothing really happened at the fon end of the site, it still looked the same, surely that’s not right?! Deactivating the plugins should at least stop the hero slider at the top from appearing?!
cheers

In reply to: Database Update required causes server errorAfter checking phpmyadmin the database versions in the database and the version.php file dont match. The db version in the versions.php is 43764 the wp version 5.
In the database the WP_Options table show the version as 38590. I am guessing this is the problem, but what can I do about it?!

In reply to: [Calculated Fields Form] Membership CalculatorHi,
Sorry, so “Calculated Fields Form” could handle the four questions in the top right of this site and then link to a specific page based on the questions answers.
That would make me very happy.

In reply to: [Web To Print Shop : uDraw] Force FullscreenHi,

In reply to: [Social Login] Official support page: https://support.oneall.com/forums/Hi,
I wonder if you can help, I need have a site viewer click a link on the homepage and be asked to register via social media details to view the content and then be redirected to that content once registering, is this possible with your plugin, does it need any other plugins to work?
cheersI got exactly the same problem, and never found a way round it to dispair of my client!

In reply to: Image editor doesn't show up after uploading the imageHi,
Any other ideas?! I’m having the same problem exactly, but none of these sorted it for me!

In reply to: Uploading Imags into posts doesn't work!Hi,
Sorry, that didn’t work either!
Could this be an issue with the hosting for this site? I think I will try contacting the hosting company, see what they say, but any other ideas would be gratefully appreciated.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Uploading Imags into posts doesn't work!Hi,
Thanks for your reply, I’ve done ‘deactivating ALL plug-ins’, and ‘switching to Twenty Eleven’ with no luck, but I will try the ‘resetting the plug-ins folder’, see if that helps!
Thanks again for getting back to me.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Uploading Imags into posts doesn't work!Hi, I’ve tried it with both blank and wp-content/uploads and neither work! The images are on the server its just that WP cant find them, even though it has the File URL correct.
When I try to Add New through the Media Library window I ge the following error:
Server error
The website encountered an error while retrieving https://www.allianceleisure.co.uk/blog/wp-admin/media-upload.php?inline=&upload-page-form=. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
Here are some suggestions:
Reload this web page later.
HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfil the request. When I double click on an uploaded image (broken picture link icon) in the Media Library, and move into edit picture pop up, again with a broken picture link icon WP tells me the file doesnt exist and asks me to re upload the file, which has no effect. Funny thing is the File URL is fine.
When I try to simply add an image to a post, after uploading the pop up window is blank.

In reply to: Image Upload sets file perms to 640 instead of 644Did this work?
Did you just add both bits of code to wp-config.php file at the bottom.
Is it not something WordPress should be fixing anyway?
