unfortunately you are using a paid theme and plugins. A i do not have a licence for them, i can not reproduce your set up.

Do you have a testing environment, where i can have access to your wordpress installation and FTP?

Another way would be, that you activate debugging and sent me the debug log of wordpress:

unfortunately it is very hard to debug your problem only with the link to the page.
What I saw is that the needed scripts and codes are not even loaded or in the source code of your page. Are you sure you activated the plugin?

Hi Talia,

i had a quick look at you website, and you implemented the osano solution WITHOUT this plugin as it seems. You do not load any resources from this plugin, but load it directly from cloudflare cdn.
You can easily validate it by completely deleting this plugin, then you will see that the banner is still on your page.

Please talk to your developer, that he removes it.

Regarding the Banner I am using this OS library: https://github.com/osano/cookieconsent/tree/master

I am waiting for their version 4 release, hoping this will fix this issue.
For easy upgrading reasons I did not got involved in changes regarding the banner code itself.
So please be a bit patient regarding the IE bug.
For the buttons I am depending on their library as well.

I expect some improvements regarding v4 otherwise I guess i am going to fork their project.

Regarding the cookie opt out link: you are right. But I won’t do reopening of the banner. What do you think of having a second shortcode only with the status.

Then you are able to do the following, for example:
Your optin status: agreed change <- this will be a link then.

Until this is released, probably you can change your text to this?
Cookie Opt-In Status: cookies abgelehnt, zum ?ndern hier klicken.

Regarding the JS Hooks: I have to see how to implement that in a secure way. But this is a thing I have thought about myself as well.

it allows you to change the text easily and deactivate the “cookie policy” tab and use a custom link instead. This link can be placed everywhere with a shortcode.

Will make the “cookie policy” tab easier customisable in the next release. Unfortunately i can not promise when it will be, as i am doing the development of this plugin whenever i have time.
Hopefully within the next weeks.

Regarding the change of the text: this is currently possibly but slightly more complicated. Have you tried the solution i explained in this support topic?
