I don’t think there is any way to change that withing this plugin, this is SEO and Open Graphs stuff.
I use All In One SEO and it has a feature to take care of how your sharing links show when you share them on social media. I also know that “NextGEN Facebook” and “WP Open Graph Meta” do the same thing but I have never activelly tried these last two.

If you already use a SEO plugin make sure it doesn’t have a social feature. If you don’t and your boss doesn’t want to, for some reason, maybe it would be worth to try one of the other ones.

I have just installed SSBA and it’s working fine. I’m using WP 3.9.1 though, so maybe it’s because the new uptade works best with the new wordpress. Have you tried uptading your WP?

And no, All in One SEO does not support SEO for both languages, currently I’m editing tags/etc for the main language, which in my case is English.
The only way to have the SEO for all languages in your site using Stella would be purchasing the full Stella with the SEO by Yoast extension.

Having a multilingual site is such a hassle, nobody seems to want to help us out. Stella was a good option, but nobody cares for it anymore, so it won’t get the improvements it needs to be “perfect”. The problem is that any other multilingual plugin is going to be just as much hassle. ??

How is your site going?

On the pro version there is the option of purchasing a extend to add multilingual features to the SEO by Yoast, so if you buy the pro Stella and buy the SEO by Yoast add-on and install SEO by Yoast itself you will get SEO for both languages separately. Otherwise, you will only get it for the main language.

You can have a sitemap for both languages though, there is a free plugin especially for Stella for that and it will help with search engines recognizing all your languages.

By full version I meant the pro one. I do use the Stella Flags, because I like things pretty. Also I use the Stella Sitemap free plugin and the free All in One SEO plugin. Haven’t ventured into the Stella SEO for Yoast.

I’m having a little issue with my share buttons not showing on the secondary language post/page, I think it’s because of the “structure” of the site and now that I’ve added the proper sitemap I’m hoping it will show.

In all honesty, the lack of support is setting me off a little bit, because it really looks like the developers no longer care for Stella. I’ve sent a couple of emails, with no response. And even on the “store” facebook page no one answers anything, only the other users. I would consider all your other options before making a purchase. I’m starting to think I made a not-so-good choice ??

I’m using headway theme on WP 3.9 with Stella 1.3 and I’m having no problems at all. It might be your theme, but it depends on what kind of error you’re getting.

Oh, great! I’m happy someone gets it! I was quite offended when I realized, after a “uptade”, that I couldn’t pick posts from my own site to show on my related posts anymore and this was when I found out I was automatically “given” this plugin instead of the one I had.
Ridiculous marketing and list-building techniques, but if what you want is to link other sites in your posts then this is the plugin for you.

Now, I’m still looking for a good related posts plugin that links to my own site that won’t accidentally involve me in some list-building strategy.

There seems to be something work with www.ads-software.com, because I’m having trouble accessing my website and my admin panel as well. It was very unstable all day long.

Unless you use the same host as me (hostgator), then it’s probably the host.

Hi! ?? In the main time I redid it all over again myself and found that the htaccess file was there the whole time haha just the default config. of my host didn’t show it, so now I managed to make it all work.

Also I learned that if the subdirectories you want to use on wordpress already exist on your cpanel, it won’t work. So, if anyone is as noob as me and is reading this, delete those and try again like I did! \o
