In reply to: [WooCommerce] Checkbox covers textI posted twice. I thought I posted once in WooCommerce support and once in Shop Isle support. Lorro resolved my issue on the other post (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/where-is-code-for-terms-and-conditions/#post-9374329):

The code is in:
wp-plugins/woocommerce/templates/checkout/terms.phpunless you have a theme template override, in which case the relevant file is:
wp-content/your-theme-name/woocommerce/checkout/terms.phpThe link is not live, but I loaded up Theme Isle and got the same problem. The custom css to fix it is:
.wc-terms-and-conditions .woocommerce-form__label-for-checkbox span {
margin-left:20px;
}
.wc-terms-and-conditions .woocommerce-form__label-for-checkbox span.required {
margin-left:4px;
}
Custom css can be entered at:
Dashboard > Appearance > Customise > Additional CSSForum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Where is code for Terms and Conditions?Success, Lorro! Thank you! This works perfectly!
(I worked on through the night and again today with no success. Was beginning to look into overwriting the html, instead. This is so much more elegant and I’m grateful to stop hours of searching and testing! I can now proceed.)
Again, thank you so much!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Checkbox covers textIt’s easily found in Page Source.
I cannot find it using the plugin editor.
If I cannot find it and review its construction, I cannot adjust the code in a child theme.Forum: Plugins

Where is that area? That is my question. Where is it?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Move Menu/Navigation Bar Below Header Image Misty Lake ThemeSarah, I finally got to try out my plan on Codepen.io to see the effect in real life. I used the line numbers from your homepage’s source code instead of the line numbers from your posted header code. The results shown are successful at moving the nav menu under the image, but the padding and contact areas now need your attention if you make the move. From the source code, I moved lines 361 through 366 and pasted them after line 374. See saved here: https://codepen.io/LS333/pen/rOPWjr?editors=100.
The menu/navigation bar has been moved below the image.

In reply to: Move Menu/Navigation Bar Below Header Image Misty Lake ThemeLine 38 through 43 is the whole nav portion I mentioned in my first post when I suggested you try moving that whole portion into the area specified below the code referencing the image source(theoilessenttials image code). I believe you have to move it all, not just line 38.
Ok, I’ve sort of spammed you, so, let me know, eh?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Move Menu/Navigation Bar Below Header Image Misty Lake ThemeEdit: that should have read line 38, not 18

In reply to: Move Menu/Navigation Bar Below Header Image Misty Lake Theme(Sorry, our internet seems to have routers out along the west coast and email/browsers all going dead for large portions of the day lately. Slow response from me.) I’ve been hoping you’d try the nav line (18) pasted directly beneath the <img src= …theoilessentials… after < / a > and before </div> , make a new line and insert it there? Haven’t been able to try it myself, so very curious if there’s more than the nav line needed. (I was poking in your online code with the Chrome browser Inspect Elements feature. Not familiar enough with it to use the temporary changes option yet.) P.S. My avitar should be labeled Newbie Member, not the expert you hoped for.

In reply to: can't reach my websiteThis video shows more prep work and advises to install all the plugins on the new WP installation before the Import, also mentions widgets being done manually if used in the original. In the comments is a bit about letting the search engines know about the move, using a 301 redirect, and avoiding SEO penalization. Again, this is for moving from host to host, or even url to url, but some of the principles may be helpful. There’s a more complex, detailed way, as well, also referenced/linked in the comments of this second video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6gxfdbdAJ8

In reply to: can't reach my websiteI came back one more time to send you this, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=weSDU7fMbP0 but it is for moving a WP site from one host to another. So you uploaded the WP site from USBwebserver to the online website with a clean install of WP on it. I wasn’t much help except to try to find out what had happened! Ha! I always phone my host’s customer service at BlueHost and they get me back on track if I haven’t done it right. The best to you!
Warm regards,

In reply to: can't reach my website(One last comment: Passwords are so important for communicating with where the domain was purchased (for a certain time, to be renewed), for the account on the host server, etc. Anyone trying to help you will ask for these passwords. Without the passwords, customer service can begin to take extra time and the different companies involved (domain name, hosting…) have trouble communicating with one another’s software to straighten out your problem. Keeping passwords very safe and using only a few words to describe your request are KEY to the least unhappy outcome for you. Don’t lead their brains down dark and twisty paths of how you got where you are, just tell them what you need to have happen. And learn, learn, learn or pay someone reliable to keep your web business safe and sane. : ) It’s a lovely website, by the way!

In reply to: can't reach my websiteThe Moderators are going to slap their foreheads.
I reread your other post. You opened a new account. And many other things. : )Is it at a different hosting company than Hosting2GO? Are you asking how to migrate your domain name from one hosting company to another? And are there still lost password issues?
Password issues = phone the hosting company customer service where website is now.
Migrating domain to new hosting company is probably best done by your new hosting company, because there’s a newbie learning curve, so again, contact customer support and use the term migrating or transfering domain name from Hosting2GO to your site with them.
Be calm and quiet, use few words, don’t tell the story (it will confuse them!) and maybe they’ll do it for you. The alternative is to hire a professional able to assess all the twists and turns of this situation.
For the sake of the poor moderators, I will try to stop typing so much.
Hopefully,

In reply to: can't reach my websiteHi Lillane,
I found another post from you about this problem. I found more clues about how it’s been going for you. So distressing for you!
Ok, here’s what I found:Domain name: illnovelle.nl
Status: activeRegistrar:
Hosting2GO B.V.
Baronielaan 92
4818RC BREDA
NetherlandsAgain, a couple choices:
(1. You still own the domain name (the url)
(2. The time you paid for using it ran out, was not renewed by you and was purchased for another’s use.I think it’s still yours. Why? Your website is still showing up when we go to your url. A new owner would have put up their own site.
Again, the best course of action for you to follow is to contact Hosting2GO and request a new password to get into your website.
Your “rental” of the url will run out at the end of your time period, whatever that is, so I’d get back in a good relationship with the service people on the phone at Hosting2GO before you lose your url.
Just say, simply and calmly, I need a new password, I’m locked out of my account. They will get you going again if your account is in good standing with them.
Good? : )
