In reply to: Where do my contributors log in?Hi,
Not sure exactly what you mean, but I found the log in page to your blog here:
https://www.lifesmysticaljourney.com/blog/wp-login.php
I’m not a member so I can’t check if there’s a problem with logging in. Are you getting an error message when you try to log in or something?
Have you tried the password recovery yet?
If you would like your contributors to log in on their own you need to create an account for them. In the admin area, go to Users > Add New.
If none of this helps, please be more specific about the issue you are having.
Good luck!

In reply to: Unable to do much of anythingHi,
I had the exact same problems with GoDaddy, then I switched, and now everything’s fine. I kept calling them and getting the run around for two months or so, and I experienced the issue for 5 months, since I started my new site. Now I see the same issue with a friend’s site hosted on GoDaddy, and she noticed the same issue on many other people’s sites hosted on GoDaddy as well.
I really think that it’s due to their overloaded servers. I had a site on there that had a lot of plugins (and therefore, a lot of tables) and it kept happening with my site, but it also happened with my friend’s site which had one or two plugins. It’s been a common issue with a lot of people. I think that’s why they’re pushing their site builder so much. They want inexperienced people to make a two or three paged website, and not wordpress sites to help offset the overwhelm.
Anyway, whatever the problem is, it seems to be a GoDaddy issue, even though they won’t outright admit it (at least not to me, although, one agent implied it was due to oversold space). You should be good to go from here on out.
Good luck!

In reply to: admin bar, tool barHi,
Could you please provide more information, such as the name of your theme and a link to the site?
Have you checked your menus under the appearance tab? Do you have a menu set for the footer?
Your site loading slowly could be a result of many things including over sold space if you’re on shared hosting. You may also need to clean up your database tables. If you have large files hosted on your website, that could also be the reason. If you have images that have a large file size, an image optimizing plugin might help with that, like Smush. It … there could be a lot of issues that result in a slow website.
Good luck!

In reply to: Special Affiliate solution?Hi,
I think that would depend on if there’s an affiliate plugin that is also compatible with Woocommerce. You’d have to check their website and see if they have one.
Good luck!

In reply to: Can I sell my wordpress website if I paid for a themeHi,
You might have to check with the theme developers to make sure you have a commercial use licence. If you do, then yes you can.
This plugin is great for selling memberships and allowing access to only certain people (like people who pay for a subscription): https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/protected-content/
Good luck!

In reply to: Changing an image on a static page. I thinkHi,
If you view the page source , or “inspect element” when right clicking the image in Chrome, you can see the path of the file, and a bit more information about it, which may help you locate the image.
I agree with Ross, a link to the page would be helpful.
Good luck!

In reply to: Unable to do much of anythingHi,
It sounds like your files are not pointing to the folder you have set up for them. This usually happens if you migrate your site to a different URL or path, and the links are not updated in your table.
In such a case, this plugin should help if you can activate it successfully: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-migrate-db/
If you’ve changed themes as well, you need to regenerate your thumbnails or you’ll be missing critical image sizes on old posts. This plugin should help with that: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/ajax-thumbnail-rebuild/
Beyond that, if it’s an intermittent problem that seems to randomly come up out of almost no where, check out this article. It might answer your question, or at the very least, give you trouble shooting steps: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/wordpress-connection-data-not-received-errors/
And possibly this post might help as well: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/wordpress-plugin-memory-500-error/

In reply to: Need advice for 'marketplace' pluginHi,
What about this plugin: https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/jobs-and-experts/
With this plugin, people can post tasks/jobs and then others can accept the job and help them (and get paid).
Good luck!

In reply to: Error 404 in sitesHi,
Sorry to hear you’re having issues.
Are you running a subdirectory install or subdomain? If you’re running a subdomain install, domain.com/newsite isn’t going to work. Try going to newsite.domain.com and see if the website shows up then.
I’m thinking you might have to post more information to receive more help if this doesn’t work, such as the actual domain names of your main site and the new site you can’t view.
It would also be helpful to post what you have entered in your wp-config file in regards to the multisite install.
Good luck!
Hi,
I second that! I would love it if Wordfence also prevented fake sign ups.
Thanks for a great service!
