    Yep Adroa Andrew, a www.ads-software.com theme ??

Hi trsenna, thanks so much for your help! I added the line of code to the setup file and that’s removed the unwanted menu, hurray!!! ?? I am not using a child theme, I went to the link you supplied which allowed me to download the file but I don’t know how to install it in WP from there and I cannot access the help files at themehybrid because I’m not a club member. I will save the line of code to re-add though, should it be overridden by an update down the track. ??

    Thanks again! ??

Andrew, could you tell me please, the Adroa theme is not a WooTheme, it’s a WP theme – I’m not using a WooCommerce theme at all, just the WooCommerce plugin. Why is the Adroa theme not supported if I got it from the www.ads-software.com theme list (just clicked install themes in WP and picked one from the list that I liked) – there was no indication it wasn’t supported? I cannot get support from WooCommerce because I’m just using the free plugin, not the paid membership. If the WooCommerce plugin is what’s unsupported through WP I understand, but in that case it would be best for me to change to a supported e-commerce pluging as I’m too unfamiliar with HTML and WP etc to do without support. Could you recommend a shop plugin that is supported, or perhaps direct me to where I can find out? I’d really appreciate it, thank you in advance. ??

Hmmm that’s where I started out, they directed me here. :-\ I’ll try again over there then. Thanks anyway. ??

Thanks Touteptite, really appreciate you taking the time to look into it and reply. I wish I could say it was resolved, but it’s not. ?? What I’m trying to do is this: Create a Category called Art Prints. Under Art Prints I created several grouped products, say Group 1, 2 and 3, then each of those has multiple types of different prints in it. When looking at the Shop, I want it to just show the Grouped Products, ie, Group 1, 2 and 3, without showing each individual product in each group on the same page. I’ve tried creating sub categories and putting each Grouped Product in its own sub category as you suggested but it still shows every single product, grouped and individual, on the Shop page, all jumbled up together. It makes no sense to me – what’s the point in grouping them if you’re just going to mix it all up and ignore the groups anyway?

I will go to the Adroa theme link you provided to hopefully sort out the weird menu, thank you!!!!

Once again, really appreciate the time you’ve taken to help me try to sort it out. ??

Hi, thanks for responding, unfortunately that’s not it. ?? The widget sidebar under Appearance > Widgets has two widgets there, a slideshow and a Facebook Like box, that’s all. On all the non-Woocommerce pages it looks perfect, but on the Woocommerce pages (Shop, My Account, Products etc), those two widget areas have been pushed down and a list of all the pages, both the Woocommerce and the main site pages all mixed up together, is in a list above the widget areas. The links are active but they look awful, they’re not in a white sidebar like the widgets are, they’re just up against the background image.

In addition, I’ve found a second problem with Woocommerce: in the Shop > My products section, rather than listing grouped products and showing the individual products in each group only when you click on their group, it’s showing every product all jumbled up together. To my mind, it makes no sense since one is a parent category of all the others. I would like it to just show the grouped products on this page and that you have to click on the grouped product to see all the various products in that group. Is there any way to achieve this?

*Relief* – update run on NextGen Gallery seems to have resolved this, phew!!!

WPYogi, I downloaded Jetpack and put the code you supplied in the CSS file – it worked, thank you much!!!

Here is the thing: the Style.css file of this theme looks different to others I’ve seen. Here are the first thirty or so lines – there’s pages and pages like this:

I can’t tell where anything starts or ends, the first section mentions headers and footers, font types and colours but which applies to which I can’t even begin to figure out. :-\ Any hints how to read this?

Thank you both, I will check out those things. Thanks for the heads up about modifications being lost WPyogi, I had no idea, that could cause a headache here or there since I’ve made a fair few changes to the theme on my other site. :-\ Appreciate the help folks!

Hi there, I am having this same problem, and with hundreds of files re-adding themselves it’s really frustrating. I applied the fix some months ago and it worked. Today I added more photos and once again, several hundred previously deleted photos re-added themselves. The “Delete images” box is still ticked. I’m guessing there has been an update in between last time I added images and now that has caused the problem to recur. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

    Thanks ??

    Hi Stefan,

Thanks for the feedback. I just found out about the permanent vs the non-permanent image delete so have ticked the appropriate box now which should take care of the problem of deleted images showing up. As for the images not showing up, I normally upload images by going into the Gallery editor and clicking on “add images”. I think that’s a plug in from memory so perhaps that’s what the problem is?

    Cheers
    Tara

Just to add, I just asked a friend to try accessing it to make sure the problem exists when others visit the site, not just when I do, and in addition to the missing dropdown menus she also gets a popup box when my site loads that says “Stack overflow at line:34” – could this have something to do with it? Appreciate any help.
