Ah, apologies. Looks like the plugin update didn’t update the original. I had to remove and reinstall. Resolved.

I’ve opened a support ticket, but not had a reply.

As I said, core plugin is updated, no update for Actions ?

i checked with the new form settings:

Protect External Forms = On

Capture Buffer = On

Protect Internal Forms = On

The mailto link with the full email is still visible in the html source.

I tested using the LiteSpeed URL variable > ?LSCWP_CTRL=NOCACHE to ensure that no cache was interfering with the output.

I’m using the short code method to include the author box as I need to target a specific custom post type.

I updated the plugin (showing the same version as the last fix). The email in the author box still remains unprotected

I’ve updated. However, the email in the author box is still visible.

The entire thing so that the link works, it just doesn’t expose the real email address.

Here is a simple example encoder for mailto links:

I raised this with CleanTalk, and they are attempting to resolve it. However, so far it’s not been successful:

The email contained within the body of the article IS protected; this includes the section under Contact Information.

However, the email in the author box (very bottom of page) is not – please check the source as I can clearly see this > href=”mailto: and then an email address. This comes from the author box at the bottom of the page. Do you need me to send you an image or video?
