I have rebuilt the Buddypress Twitter plugin and it will include all major social networks and LOTS more like Buddypress Group Facebook like box’s and stuff – please check https://bp-plugins.com in a weeks time for more info.

What theme are you using? Seems as though you might be missing a hook in your theme?

Also the premium version will be released within the next week so I would hold out for that – over 60 configurable social options and widgets, combines all my other social plugins into one.. and its really cheap ??

Have you set the social networks you want to use in the plugin settings page? If yes, can you provide a link so I can check it out?

Suhail_Patel – Im guessing there is a conflict with your theme or one of your plugins. If you deactivate all plugins except for buddypress and buddypress social, does it still not work?

You can manually style the colors using:

social-buttons a {
color: #000000;
}

social-buttons a:hover {
color: #cccccc;
}

The plugin works with bp default theme and wordpress twenty twelve and thirteen. You would have to over ride some styling or I can have a look for you if you provide a link to your theme
