This is so weird. It’s working now. And absolutely nothing has changed. (maybe it just needed the threat of you looking at it?)

I had replaced the form on both sites with another form, but I hate it, so took it down and re-activated VSCF on one site: https://www.nowwerecookin.org/contact/

I’m using Firefox v61.0.1. However, I updated my Chrome just now to v68 and it works. So apparently it’s a Firefox issue, which is irritating because that’s what approximately half of my visitors use. ??

Restricting the wp-includes directory resolves this issue for my sites. I’d already performed other suggestions listed on the Hardening WordPress page; it turns out I was missing that step.

I am also seeing this in error logs on multiple WordPress installs after upgrading to 3.9.1:

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_action() in /home/folder/public_html/wp-includes/admin-bar.php on line 48 -“error_log”

All error logs point to the exact same line number on the exact same file. I do not believe this is an exploit, but a bug.

I was able to test this on one of my sites running SBCF and it worked fine. Simply put a comma between each of the email addresses, leaving out any spaces.

Then you may want to update your listing to state that plugin is required. I found that plugin to be more trouble than it’s worth.
