Wow – guess I’ll be not using this plugin if this is the kind reply you get when you ask a question…
I already searched “ERROR calling GET” and this was the post that came up.

In reply to: [my world with grass and dew] Bulleted ListsHey Andrew. In my 45 years of experience, I sometimes forget the obvious. Opened up Chrome, inspected the element, took me exactly to the line of code in the CSS file I needed to edit and all is well again.

In reply to: [my world with grass and dew] Bulleted ListsI’m back. This is the thing. The styles.css has a bunch of includes (which I totally understand) but I can’t find the original coding that’s affecting my bullets so that I can change it there. I’ve gone into them all…

@import url(media/css/main.css);Please forgive me for all the questions. I never use free themes and wouldn’t now except that this is a client site so what he wants, he gets. I know this is probably a quick fix and I appreciate the expertise here in this case.

In reply to: [my world with grass and dew] Bulleted ListsMy bad. In this case I figured anyone using the theme would know what it looks like. I am not using any bulleted lists at this time exactly because of the issue so I had to open up a test page and add some just to show here.
Page will only be up shortly but here’s one you can see what I mean.

In reply to: [List category posts] Replacing bullet point with thumnailHi. I don’t want the list bulleted, I don’t want it indented. I just want plain ole normal text. How might I go about that please?
(And thanks Salvador – for the edit up there. It worked just fine, except it isn’t what I need for this project)

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Exclude my own page hits?Indeed, I agree with you. I visit my page frequently when I’m not logged in. So there’s no way to block an IP address altogether, Jeremy?
Oh, and thank you for responding. I had forgotten I’d even posted a question 5 months ago until your response just recently.
Oh I do understand that’s how it is right now, but it could work just the way I described. If the date for completion changes while you’re working, you edit it the end time/date, the same way you have to edit the percentage right now.
Same thing, different way.
Happy New Year! We’ve both been heard. It is what it is.
Not at all.
It requests the end date, right? So, it’s not unreasonable to expect that it might be able to behave as a countdown timer from the start date to the time you enter that you expect the site will be up again. Simple calculation, much like Excel. But I LOL you back, indeed – thank you for the humor!
Thank you, and I already knew how to remove it via FTP. So the bottom line is whether or not an app is offered for free is not the point. Many developers have created free apps that were so good that later they offered paid versions. That’s the kind of reputation you want when you put an app out there, right?
So being free isn’t an excuse for a poorly-functioning app. I understand your point; I do. Understand ours. Mine isn’t the first post related to this.
Additionally, there’s no way to remove the emails addresses that people leave to be contacted after the site is back up.
Worked for awhile and now I am locked out and unable to log back in. ??? I know, I know . . . just figure it out – no answers forthcoming.
Such a shame; pretty plugin but only useful if I can log into my site to do the work it’s set to mask!
And good for us. It just goes to show you don’t have to raise a lot of hell to make a point. Just speak up.
Even if a plugin is free, if it’s not maintained it’s not worth the platform it’s built on!
Amen, Douglas! I emailed them about that months ago and still no fix.
