Good news everyone! It took 72 hours, but the google adsense ads are showing now. So the solution is just to have patience.

Yes, the plugin I used is the official one. As of now it is almost 72 hours without ads showing.

Beside here, I have also created a post in AMP plugin support forum where a plugin support member also stated that everything seems configured fine and I should wait 3-4 until the ads populate the site.

I created a post in the Google Adsense Help Community where I have not received an answer as of now.

Thank you very much for the time spent. Things are narrowing down, so at some point there has to be a solution.

I confirm that amp ads are showing in the Ad Settings Preview page in my AdSense account.
