I’ve been having this problem for a while now. And our site was heavily Digg’d yeserday, nearly 100k pageviews in a few hours, I had foregone installing supercache because it was serving blank pages daily, multiple times per day. But because of the spike we needed it, once again it only took like 3-4 hours for blank pages to appear. Makes me sad we can’t seem to work it out or figure it out. Any resolution would be great! It worked this summer, but now, no dice… ;(

If I’m in a rush I restart apache…please help!

I can also just wait ten minutes or so and the site comes back up for me. But always get to it by IP is the funny part. It just went down again, now its every 30 minutes. ;(

I actually uninstalled the plugin let the site go several days and no blank pages were served. Today, several visitors were having issues viewing the site (we get a decent amount of traffic daily, 30k pageviews on avg). I reinstalled and activated wp-supercache. Within 3 hours I started receiving blank pages. I had it set to “half on” so this ip folder issue wasn’t existent.

How do I resolve? My site clearly needs love from this plugin to work at its best…?

Only problem is, I am unable to delete the folder labeled w/ the IP address regardless of file permissions…

I had to uninstall wordpress and reinstall to public_html and not in a subdirectory and I also changed siteURL and home at phpMYadmin to 69.89.31.161/~fitsnews.

Now when I go to wp-admin/install.php, I’m getting a page that says:

Already Installed
You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.

Where/how do I do this? I’m going to search the forum on this, but if you know and can share…

I also just set the “home” value in phpMYAdmin to “https://69.89.31.161/nmjackson/wp). Still no go…
