pmcka, I am experiencing the same issue. It appears that Twitter Tools is scheduling the post as if the time is specified in UTC/GMT. I have adjusted my time -5 hours since I am in Central US time. However, this introduces another problem in that Twitter Tools then seems to use the local time (or maybe server time) to splice the Twitter posts.
