I ended up restoring backups of my database and files to before I changed from MyISAM to InnoDB and before I installed MP 5.1. I’m now running MP 5.0.2 again, and things seem to be working.

I’m not comfortable installing MP 5.1 until I’m confident that this whole issue has been resolved.

I ended up restoring backups of my database and files prior to the upgrade to MP 5.1 or to the change from MyISAM to InnoDB. That was necessary in order to get things working again. I’m not uneasy about installing MP 5.1, so I’m sticking with 5.0.2 until I hear that everything is resolved.

I changed all my database tables from MyISAM to InnoDB.

Now I cannot see my subscriber list or my forms. The lists come up empty and I get this error message:

“An error has happened while performing a request, the server has responded with response code 200”

Trying to subscribe using my online form also produces an error along the lines of “There was an error.” Nothing useful. But when I check the database, the new subscriber has been added.

And emails are getting sent.

Thank you. This did work, but of course then it spoils the alignment.

I’ll have to play with this to decide how to achieve a good look.

Correction, there was one plugin I hadn’t deactivated. That was the one!

No recent updates. I’m actually not sure if it was ever there; today was the first time I tried to access it.

I tried deactivating plugins but it didn’t show up. I didn’t try reinstalling WordPress. Rather not do anything too drastic without trying other options first. And maybe this is something I can live with.
