In reply to: [Dooodl] Increase Height & widthadding the background to an image is slighly more work. You’re welcome to try it yourself but it requires some JS, PHP and WordPress magic.
Disabling the random color upon ‘reset’ can be fixed by:
- Open [dooodl-folder]/creator/js/script.js
- Replace line 91 with
resetBG('#ff0066')
where#ff0066
is a valid HEX-color to your liking
Good luck!

In reply to: [Dooodl] Increase Height & widthHey Sudheerarck,
These are changes that are coming a next version of Dooodl. There have been a lot of requests for the width and height of the canvas, so I’ll have to see how I can incorporate these in the plugin.
Background image shouldn’t be a problem. WIll take that to the next version as well.

In reply to: [Dooodl] Dooodl upgrade process crashes websiteThe problem turned out to be related to the huge number of Dooodls on the concerning site. WordPress behaved strangely but after a refresh the migraton manager completed the process and the migration was completed succesfully.
Marked as resolved.

In reply to: [Dooodl] 2.0.8Found the cause of this error. Turned out to be a code style issue that was only on older versions of PHP. Fixed in 2.0.9 and has been commited to the WordPress repo’s. Update should pop up in the next couple of minutes. Let me know if anything else comes up ??

In reply to: [Dooodl] Localhost install not workingSaving now happens at: “/dooodl/creator/post/new”
The function that is called when this url is triggered is:
dooodl_add_new
inincludes/ajax.php
.I have found a problem with the send-email feature which I’m currently fixing.
Let me know if this problem persists later on. (I’ll publish version 2.0.8 in a few minutes).

In reply to: [Dooodl] Localhost install not workingThat’s an odd problem to have.
Do you have access to an error_log on your local install? Let me know if that shows something… I’m not aware of how a new dooodl couldn’t be saved to the database.
I’m guessing somewhere an error occurs so, I’d need an error message to see where things go wrong. Are you using permalinks? Are they working correctly to view the gallery?
(The save action is done using a permalink-setting).Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Dooodl] Migration ProblemThis problem was solved with update 2.0.7.
The problem Ian was having was server resources. The migration manager updates 10 Dooodls at a time. We changed this to the bare minimum: 1 update at a time. This fixed the problem and the migration manager is now working away nicely.

In reply to: [Dooodl] Localhost install not workingHey Jimme,
Could you let me know what version of the plugin you’re using?
Yesterday, I ran into a problem where the Doodls folder was not created. I released an update that fixed this. This has been verified and is working for people who were having the problem.
Are you sure the Dooodls are not put into ‘moderaition’ queue? This saves them on the site, creates the files but doesn’t allow the Dooodl to show up in the public parts of the site until you have approved it.
Go to the dooodl overview page and on the top left of the list, there’s a link called ‘moderation queue’. Check to see if you have new Dooodls in there.
Did you complete the migration of the plugin? This moves the old data to the new setup.
Maybe send me a database dump so I can check out the state of your site.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Dooodl] Parse error:Hey Iroller ??
I checked your sandbox site and let it update. I then disabled/enabled the plugin and the problem is in fact gone.
Good stuff!
Enjoy the plugin and happy holidays!
