Sorry, but without implementing third-party slider or customization turning current jumbotron as a slider is not possible ??
you may look for slider plugin in the WordPress repo and then i can help you to replace our jumbotron

Sorry but this menu cannot be changed to the bars, unfortunately, there is no option for this, most probably you need a third party menu plugins for such custom approach
