Ok Problem solved (for the time being!) Google Ad Blocker did just that blocked all social media icons

I think I need to re-open the ticket. The icons have disappeared again! I have done nothing in the meantime

Problem solved but don’t know how! Having tried several plugins and nothing seemed to work two of the plugins suddenly became active and the social media plugins appeared on the fron end. This was some 15 minutes after activating the plug-ins. I had previously cleared cache and it made no obvious difference.

Thanks again for the help. I’ll take you have nothing below 15min. Incidentally what is the simplest way to identify which plugin might be causing the problem? It may not be imortant but if there is a simple method of identiufying the culprit then I’ll get rid of it.

Thanks James,
In editing the Cron events how do I know what frequency to use for each event. Some are 5 min and some are 900sec is there some rule of thumb what the frequence is?

Thanks James. I will look at the WP-COntrol plugin. Can you explain what a WP- cron is and what it does? This is completely new to me as a novice at website management
