Kinsta whitelisted the IPs. I now get the placeholders in the editor, where before I didn’t. That would make me think that the whitelisting is done correctly. Is my thinking correct?

Because unfortunately I still cannot get the posts to show on the frontend. I checked a bunch of posts, all in incognito. The heading that is within the block is Related stories (Jetpack) so it’s easily indentifyable if it does show up.

My understanding is that posts won’t show when there are less than 3 good results. But this post for example is in a category with 60 others, so I wouldn’t expect that to be it. https://stg-newqx-staging.kinsta.cloud/2024/04/studland-soho-pride-2024-at-here-at-outernet-saturday-29-june/

Thanks so much for the clarity.

Yes, core/embed now allows the Insta block on the site. But it also allows all other embeds. That looks a bit strange to a client, I think, a short list with images, lists, paragraphs headings and dozens of embeds. ?? Do you know whether there’s a way that I can give access to specific embed type blocks, and not the rest? E.g. if I just want to allow for the Insta block, how would I do that?

Also is there a place where I can see a list of all the blocks Jetpack includes along with their references (like jetpack/instagram-gallery)?

@imagely I have completed the bug report. Thank you in advance for looking into this with urgency.

It appears often in the error log. Sometimes there’s a minute in between, sometimes a few, sometimes 5 but not more than that. It causes the website to become unreachable for a few minutes sometimes, but this only seems to happen a few times a day, not every time the error is logged (thankfully).

Hi @zdenys, we actually ended up hiring a database engineer, who fixed the issue by updating the IDs in the posts plus the auto-increment value. Thanks for the assistance.

It seems that the update database process has changed since I last used it. I am used to getting a notification about it when it’s needed, and then being able to see its progress. This no longer seems to be the case.

I started the update but there seems to be no way for me to see whether it’s complete. Or perhaps I am missing something?

Thanks so much for your reply. I did test Sequential Order Numbers Pro but unfortunately that isn’t a solution either as it requires us to set a starting number higher than the highest number that already exists. ??

Here’s a screenshot of the wp_posts table. Note the last normal order number and then the long ones. The next auto-index value is 9,004,111,222,007,542.

I am at a loss. If it’s not plugins, nor something the host did, nor PHP snippets I wrote, then what could it possibly be? I’d really like to resolve this and am happy to provide anything that’ll help you help me. ??
