I have a similar situation. My “Press Releases” page is 3 levels deep in my site hierarchy. This coupled with long press release post titles makes the breadcrumb unwieldy on single press release posts so I would like to shorten the breadcrumb on these pages to be:
Home/Press Releases/Post Name
But I still want the press release page to fall where it currently does in the site hierarchy on sitemaps, etc. And even on the press release page, I want to list out the full breadcrumb. It is only on the single posts that it presents a problem.
