In reply to: [Meteor Slides] [Plugin: Meteor Slides] Wrong Size Slides Coming UpI wish I HAD figured it out . . . I really don’t what went wrong.
Maybe I should pay closer attention to what I am doing.
Happy New Year!

In reply to: [Meteor Slides] [Plugin: Meteor Slides] Wrong Size Slides Coming UpDid it all over again . . , FTPed in and deleted all the files. You are right . . . WP, I guess, makes all those different sizes . .
Upload all the originals . . . assigned the slides and every works/looks like it should.

I have no idea what I did to make those 600×200 slides to be featured.

In reply to: [Meteor Slides] [Plugin: Meteor Slides] Setting Slide SizesAnd by the way . . . I went into Slides / Settings and changed the image size to 500 x 375 and it “fixed” the problem.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Meteor Slides] [Plugin: Meteor Slides] Setting Slide SizesOf course . . . I should have thought of and/or noticed that. Too many themes with to many column widths. Duh.
I will pass along your kind words regarding screencast-o-matic.com to the creator/owner . . . who happens to be my son.
Thanks Josh . . .

In reply to: [Meteor Slides] [Plugin: Meteor Slides] Adding Multiple SlidesBy gosh I think I have it. Watch
Can I rely on the actual size of the photo . . . and not mess with size parameters in the script?
I noticed I have to use the slug name NOT the slide show name to point to a specific slide show collection.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Meteor Slides] [Plugin: Meteor Slides] Adding Multiple SlidesYes . . I find the screencasts are the best way to show what would take hundreds of words to describe.
This should be amusing.
Here is me, the Meteor novice stumbling my way, in an attempt to up load multiple slides.

In reply to: [Meteor Slides] [Plugin: Meteor Slides] Adding Multiple SlidesThanks for the speedy response. (I have noticed how active you are here . . . really setting an example for and putting to shame other programmers/authors).
I have uploaded multiple jpg previously for other uses . . .
i will attempt to set each as “featured.”
I don’t know why these slide shows are so hard for me to figure out. I have tried at least ten other plug-ins . . and I just don’t have the intuition to grasp many of the concepts. And they all use different techniques.
And I am not a novice. . . been doing HTML and other stuff for twenty years or more . . .
Okay . . enough of this rambling on.
Oh . . and thanks for the demo videos.

I disabled Redirection, v2.0.5, “A redirection manager By John Godley.”
Maybe I did recently upgraded it.

In reply to: File Editor in 2.5?I can’t find in 2.5 either.
But it’s still mentioned in the documentation.

In reply to: index.php hackedI am not sure what this argument is about.
Yes I was hacked with 2.5 . . yes I knew it.
I thought maybe 2.5.1 would fix it. It didn’t.
I wasn’t hacked before I installed 2.5.
I suspect very few people detect the “additions” made to index.php (who looks at index.php?) . . . I wouldn’t have noticed if feedburner hadn’t choked on it. Interestingly, Google Reader couldn’t care less.

In reply to: index.php hackedI was hacked before 2.5.1 and after. I was never hacked before 2.5. Clear?
