Update:

So I removed the .pretty code and put it at the top in my stylesheet. It now works. When I moved it back, the code stopped working.

I must have blocked some code from publishing using comment symbols and not closed them, if that makes sense. But where?

I’ve combed through everything and can’t find it anywhere. Ugh.

The ‘hello’ text super-sized and turned red, but the image isn’t round.

I thought it was common to WordPress and not specific to the theme. Well, thanks anyway.

I’m using eleven40, downloaded directly from StudioPress.

I wanted to add I’m using a darker color for the page number links. I’d like the ellipses to not be so dark.

It looks like with FTP your password is visible, as is all transmitted data. SFTP encrypts all data, including your password. That seems like reason enough to stop using FTP.

I completely misunderstood and thought I was adding to the same issue, which I’ve been told to do before instead of opening a new thread.

I don’t know how I missed the main topic of the poster’s request for help. I thought it was about padding.

I’m using StudioPress’ Eleven40 theme, if that helps. I’m wondering if there’s some code carrying over from my theme’s CSS that’s influencing the MailChimp form alignment.
