Hmm … perhaps I didn’t state my question in the best way. I know that but any use of localhost or the ip address just brings up a 404 error. I suppose a better way to word my question would have been how do I bring up the WordPress Dashboard.
When I did a fresh install of WordPress on the new server, going to the localhost brings up the WordPress Dashboard. That doesn’t happen on the old server so the guy who created the site might have set up WordPress differently from the default. I’m wondering if there’s a way I can determine how to access the WordPress Dashboard when going to the localhost address isn’t working.
I also now realize my question may not fit in this forum. If you need to move it I’m fine with that.
