Don’t you think that /%category%/%postname%/ inside permalink are the most used inside the permalink structure because of their SEO effectiveness ?
And a menu with category (or similar, based on cms on a logical scheme) is used worldwide, for example on techradar website:

If techradar was based on wordpress with “phone” as a category added to menu from menu dashboard, it would have this permalink “/category/phone” and not the correct /phone…

From now i’ll use one the plugin for my websites, and for other i’ll do a special category loop page for the menu.

I’ll try on a test site this evening or max tomorrow evening, meanwhile wait for other help ??

I’ve already explained that the problem is born since the introduction of the menu.
I’ve never used these plugin!
I used these plugin to show like an example, of the problem and the solution, because the slug /category/ added inside the permalink when you create a category item in a menu it’s a bug it’s a problem!

Then this is my suggestion, why don’t fix this “glitch/cosmetic bug”, with the solution of these plugin?

All people change their customized permalink structure to “/%category%/%postname%” and when they think all it’s good they see this nightmare inside menu, only because they choose to insert a category inside a menu link…

I perfectly now that i can fix by creating a page inside a menu and in this page i need to post a category loop page based, but why i have to do that and make an hard work, when in a future version of worpdress the developers could implement the fix to this situation :O?

The bug exist from the introduction of the EDITABLE MENU inside the dashboard of wordpress…

In order to solve this bug some user decided to create these plugin.

In your webpage i see that you’ve enabled a different menu for desktop and for mobile. if i resize i got different logo (the mobile logo’s) and mobile menu.

Do you wan’t to maintain the social inside the mobile’s menu?
Because the only things i see in your desktop menu are the social icon.

No other plugin enabled, and no other plugin installed.

3)Yes only jetpack and polylang are active, all modules of jetpack are disabled, infinite scroll is the only enabled.
Polylang settings:
2 Menu, 1 italian, 1 english
Browser check language
Italian default language
Remove language from pretty permalink
Hide the language from url for the defaul language
Media translation and language active for media
No synchronization

In these days i try to enable theme function infinite scroll for other theme, but i don’t think this is the problem that cause the error.

I tried the 1.1 official version, didn’t work.
I tryied first to resave with quickedit, then i deleted all post and recreated other post both in english and in italian area.

Hi i tried the version 1.1dev12 and i got this error:

When polylang is actived, the button load more post doesnt work anymore, i don’t get other post, simply i get a refresh but no more post load (you can see this on the site)
