Hi to both of you, and thanks for posting!

Though for some reason I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue, at least not with the following setup…

    – WordPress 4.3.1
    – Global Meta Box Order 1.0.3
    – WooCommerce 2.4.10

    …with the following users:

    – an admin/blueprint user
    – an editor
    – a shop manager

The WooCommerce installation is a rather basic one (WooCommerce’s 5-Minute-Installer plus dummy data), but the shop manager seemed to be able to successfully change the featured image for a product, as was the editor regarding posts (for the latter, it didn’t seem to matter whether WooCommerce was enabled or disabled).

So maybe today’s release fixed this, otherwise it would be great if you could provide me with some details about your setup (WP, plugin’s & WooCommerce’s version, other plugins and such).

    Thanks!

Thanks a lot for posting this issue, though I hope the current version might have fixed it – at least I wasn’t able to reproduce it (running version 1.0.3 with WordPress 4.3.1).

It should work the way you describe out of the box, so if this issue still persistplease drop me a line and I’ll further review it.

If it still persists, and you find the time to do so, it would be great if you could provide me with a list of your active plugins (in case it’s a plugin conflict).

    Thanks!

Hey Thomas, as I already said on GitHub: Tanks a lot! New version is out now, with your changes included.

In this special case, I believe that I should not rely on the language code in the url.

Sorry, not my day today, have overlooked this somehow. Yes, you’re right – actually the language code would always be missing in the ajax call.

BTW: Thanks for clarifying the use of get_preferred_language.

Perfect! Works & spares the regex overhead. Many thanks.

… though this won’t assign $GLOBALS['l10n']['pll_string'] – but I don’t know if this is of any relevance, unless polylang_mo is supposed to hold some user defined strings.

    Again: Thanks a lot!
