tGriff, if Entity2NCR didn’t help you out and you simply want a quick fix until you are able to upgrade to 1.5.1, just look through all of your comments and manually edit anything that has the ampersand-raquo. You’ll want to edit the title to remove that special symbol or change it to the numeric equivalent if WP allows you to. Once you have that out of there, you should be all set.

But, like I said, that’s a temporary fix. If someone posts or trackbacks with raquo again, it will break again and you’ll need to do some more editing.

Now, can someone direct me to a page that shows me how I can get this script to display on https://example.com/blog/archives/ like Justin has it set up? There’s got to be some documentation out there on how to do this, but all the search terms I’m using are so general that I get unrelated results.

In addition to header.php (in your theme’s directory), you will need to do the same in wp-register.php and wp-login.php (in the blog’s main directory).

Why not add it directly to sidebar.php instead of editing all your templates individually? I just stick tower ads there, and it works fine.
. . . or add it to header.php like HiMysk did . . .

I also am interested in some info on setting up my blog so that [blogdir]/category/ will show a list of the categories instead of a 404.
