It works perfectly with variation products on my site. You might have a conflict somewhere.

Thanks for the super-quick response Thomas! Hummingbird is set to only cache static content but perhaps it sees the FileAway content as static???

I had previously deactivated it (Hummingbird) entirely and still had the error reported during that deactivation and actually reactivated it (at the client’s request) so that they could ‘clear the cache’.

I’ll also remove the site from Cloudflare for a time and see if that helps.

Hi again Thomas. The short answer is that I have tried and tested everything but keep coming back to FileAway as the root of the problem – but only because it is the ONE plugin that can’t be deactivated since it is THE key tool used on the site.

Clearing the cache ‘seems’ to provide a temporary fix and I also suspect that the (front end) users of this site rarely close their browser.

I use Hummingbird from WPMUDev as my caching tool but they have no reports of similar issues and they have also confirmed that my settings are correct. I also use Cloudflare but so do millions of others and I can’t find anything there.

The mega challenge is that it is impossible to force the error. It simply occurs randomly. While I doubt that it will help you, the error message can be seen at https://screenpresso.com/=S2xWc

Also very happy to see this thread as I have been getting an error on a site that has this plugin. The error (nonce failure) may or may not have it’s root here but I was also looking to remove the plugin if support had ended.

I came here to read the reviews before paying for the Pro version. Negative reviews are every bit as important as the positive ones but I have to say that yours reads like it was written by someone with a competitive product.

If you are going to bag a plugin, can I suggest you add some supporting examples as well?

Hi @tynus. Both Defender and Wordfence work well with Cloudflare so I’m guessing there would not be a conflict. I am hoping it gives an additional layer of protection since it appears to use no server resources.

What kind of silly review is that? Who does it help? If you have issues, spell them out. Tell people what the ‘lies’ are and tell us about these ‘several payments’.

I think the developers are very open. If I want to remove the branding there’s a fee. That makes sense. And if I want to hire their staff as agents, that also involves a fee. Well, that also makes sense or do you feel that service should be free as well?

Frankly, I find reviews like this absolutely worthless and I’mm confident that most users would agree with me.

It is still working on my sites but I would be very caustions of using it given the lack of support.

We’ve been using it for the past two weeks and have not had any issues at all. Replacing images is simple. Have you checked the documentation or any of the video tutorials that are popping up everywhere?

I just read this and while it also worries me that this has not been updated for two years, I have to tell you that it works perfectly! I have been using it for at least four years on a site with up to 22 sub.sites (some now archived) and I have NEVER had an issue.

Yes, I also ran into challenges with Wordfence following the recent major update and still have it disabled on one site.

However, in fairness, they have been very proactive in trying to assist me.

I’m using the Pro version (or should I say, not using).
