I see wildly different results in the backend, compared to the frontend.

I understand, but my problem remains unsolved.

I’ve decided to test this using the block editor, w/ ajax enabled and data caching disabled. This does not make a difference. Maybe the plugin has trouble deleting it’s own cache?

Where are you seeing this “6,000” figure exactly?

If you add up the top ten that’s over 4000 views, so 6000 doesn’t seem ridiculous ??

Apparently I overlooked the one sentence in documentation mentioning Ajax loading, as I did set that in options but that doesn’t affect implementation using shortcode. As I am using the shortcode, that’s apparently not an option. So I resorted to excluding the page in Hummingbird, then manually clearing the cache. That did not solve it, unfortunately. FWIW I use this shortcode

I’ve set the views count to hidden as it’s none of our user’s business. This is however what I see in the backend.

I see the records are still there in Algolia and will delete them. This site isn’t updated that often so we’ll see if they turn up after updating next time.

Yes, code was copied verbatim and everything was reindexed but the results still show up.

They claim they were able to fix things using a workaround, but they weren’t specific how…closing the issue for now. Thanks again.

I’ve managed to fix this on my local installation via a couple of updates and disabling TurboAdmin (although I’m not sure whether that was the culprit) and have asked the client to acknowledge whether the issue has been solved. Thanks.

• capability is enabled (as it is the default)
• we don’t do object caching – and we don’t do caching for logged in users
• we had Turbo Admin enabled and have now disabled it – does not make difference

Same here, I’m afraid. Redirect to file was never on. Although it does redirect the user to the real file path, instead of the ‘masked’ one. I have temp disabled the htaccess file, but rather have it on to prevent hotlinking. Please advise, thanks.
