I’ll make sure to do that next time an issue arises. As we now are 2 months further, we created another solution and deployed that at the client’s site.

As far as I could see, settings concerning subsites were not carried over. There are a multitude of values in various tables in the database for that. I ended up using this howto https://www.realisingdesigns.com/2010/09/16/moving-the-domain-of-a-wordpress-multisite-install/

It’s worth mentioning that this procedure does not carry over menu’s, widget contents and custom/plugin values. I ended up correcting those by hand. All-in-all a pretty time-consuming process; next time I’ll probably build at a live site with jf3 Maintenance Redirect active, then unveil.

I’ve experienced the same. AFAIK this is not a SimpleMap but a Google problem. You cannot load the same library twice on one url. You may be able to workaround this by including or iframing your secondary map.

OK, thanks for making that clear. In my case I’ll resort to using taxonomies instead of categories for specific product types.

That looks different indeed, so I tried it. The widget shows up alright, however I cannot get it to display empty taxo’s. I cannot get it to exclude certain categories either. Am I overlooking something?
