OK, so at first I thought maybe it was a subdomain with an installation on it that had WF installed. But after deleting all the subdomains I’m still getting the notice.
It could’ve been bluehost support added it in there at one point to disable it when there was a crash I had in the past.
Anyways, I’ve deleted the line from wp-config. The plugin shows the firewall is activated, so I’m assuming I’m good to go!
Thanks.
Maybe I did. I know with some hosts you need to jump through flaming hoops to get WF to work properly, like with SiteGround for example. But this site is on bluehost, and I don’t think I needed to do anything special.
Anyways, thanks for the tips. I will check it out and report back.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Blogger Importer Extended] Characters stripped from slugHi @gretchenlouise,
That’s a nice find! Can you confirm what you said here “since Blogger Importer Extended had preserved a, an, and the in the slugs”?
I understand Blogger strips these, and Blogger Importer Extended copies the slug exactly from blogger, so the a, an, and the, would still not be included in the imported permalink. Correct?
Thanks,

In reply to: [React Webcam] Refresh interval questionOk thanks. That makes sense. I’ve been having some image loading issues though I haven’t had the time in the last week to get to the bottom of it.

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp User Sync] Syncing multiple user roles to MC interest groupHi @berkmh, I’m not sure I understand the question. I only have one list in my MC account and was syncing with it already. I then added a new interest group to the list which corresponded with the WP user type, and hence needed this code to sync my user role to the options in the interest group.
Has this been added yet? Or is it premium? I need to add this as well. Thanks.

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp User Sync] Syncing multiple user roles to MC interest groupAh! Rookie mistake. I’ve fixed and run a test, seems to be working now.

In reply to: [RO Marketing] Error using LinkedIn Insight TagIt seems the error was being generated because of my location. I’m working out of a location that heavily filters it’s internet usage (site blocking). Once logged in through my VPN the error went away, and would come back once the VPN was off.
For whatever reason, part of the service LinkedIn is using is being blocked. The tag still works though.
And one more thing, and nothing to do with this Plugin, the LinkedIn tag adds about a full second of load time to my web page according to pingdom. I’m trying it for a while, but if I don’t get any value of the tag I’ll be removing it.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Job Manager] avoiding 404 errors for expired and deleted listingsHello @pandl,
Regarding the 404/301 redirect. I am having the same issue with google webmaster tools reporting lots of 404’s. I was thinking of doing also a redirect, but I don’t see in the github where it mentioned to just leave the 404’s. Won’t this negatively affect SEO / and ranking?
Thanks,

In reply to: Emails not sendingAn update for anyone following this;
I hired an ace troubleshooter to run some tests and different scenarios. We finally figured out that any email with the domain name in it, going outside of the network, was blocked. With this testing we were able to ask bluehost to check their email logs to compare messages that were sent vs not sent. It turns out my domain was blacklisted on one list and bluehost was picking it up and reporting as spam. They happily fixed and emails are working again, for now.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Emails not sendingAn update:
I installed Easy WP SMTP plugin and configured it using the BlueHost SSL mail settings. When I send a test message from the plugin settings screen, it works fine, but the email is not recorded in the email log. All other email functions as described in my original post still aren’t working.
So it seems the route the test message takes is different to all other wordpress functions.
Please! any help would be greatly appreciated.Forum: Plugins
