Any ideas why editing the CSS doesn’t remove the dashes between products?

Thank you so much! That totally worked! Now the formatting looks great. The last piece is figuring out where to edit the margin between the added items and the dotted line in between. I looked at the css file and my changes didn’t seem to work. When I go to Editing amazon-link/include/form.css, it says (inactive) and I’m not sure if that’s why.

Ok I actually did get the image to resize, but now there is a large area of white space above the picture. If I insert multiple search results, a large white space appears in between each. I am using a customized template. Here’s the shortcode:

Would a link to the preview help? Also, I can get the description and link to aligncenter but not the image.

Thank you for answering my question. I have another- I ran the EWWW Image Optimizer and it worked great. Since I also want to scale a number of images, I got the Imsanity plugin but it did not work and instead shows broken links to images. The Imsanity plugin author is helping me troubleshoot this, and said that if at some point another plugin moved image files without updating the WordPress metadata for them, that might cause them to get re-located to where WordPress thinks they should be and some pages may be stuck with an old image URL. Do you think this is what happened when I ran EWWW? Imsanity uses the WordPress meta data to locate image files, not what is on the file system. Please let me know what you think.

Oh another thing- I have the Broken Link Checker and the images I tested showed up on there too so it is definitely a linking issue

I was able to download the image fine, it doesn’t seem to be corrupted. It’s a broken link, not a broken image. There’s some disconnect between where WordPress is now trying to pull the image.

Do you have any ideas on why the images would now be pointing to broken links and therefore not showing up?

Thanks so much for your reply. It is indeed odd and I went in to take a look like you suggested.

I see that the image files are still in the wp-contents folder. On the actual blog post, I’m not able to right-click and Save Image As but I am able to Save Link As and View Image. When I View Image I get my Search Not Found Page. It seems like after I ran a few test images through, the plugin said OK but now those images are linking to a url that isn’t there. I’m not overly technical, so I don’t know what to look for as far as error text inside instead of binary image data when I open them in a text editor.

Are there any known issues with other plugins? I’ve been trying to optimize my images so I also recently losslessly compressed them using the EWWW Image Optimizer plugin.

I would appreciate any other problem-solving ideas, thanks!
