In reply to: [WooCommerce] shipping rate problem variation product HELPYou have to consider, that both wordpress and woocommerce are completely free to use and i appreciate all the work people put into it. That being said… thank god i found a fix for this so quickly and i feel sorry for all the people that updated and don’t know what’s wrong with their shop. I will now think twice before doing any update to my shop…

In reply to: [WooCommerce] shipping rate problem variation product HELPyou are welcome. it was the update 3.0.2 -> 3.0.3 of woocommerce it seems. I figured out, that you could also set the shipping class for EACH variation to solve this problem. We actually sold a couple items without shipping cost, because we saw it so late. I spent the whole day trying to figure this out. I’m so glad it is just working right now.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] WooCommerce Shipping Zones not working for shipping class@mikejolley hey mike, thx so much! yeah… after a while i figured out it had nothing to do with the shipping class, but with all variation products… i am not familiar with woocommerces building process. It looks like a fix merged in github, but when will it be available via wordpress update?
EDIT: Ok, i just saw your response on github… what would be mid next week? We need it to work on tuesday. Can you regularly update to a newer version after applying the patch manually?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] WooCommerce Shipping Zones not working for shipping classI just saw that this also affects other shipping classes so i had to restore from a backup… now i still have a problem with these exact shippingclasses… They now show wrong prices, like €106.98 instead of €89.99… i don’t know what to do right now, but this might be a problem with the theme we’re using…

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Problem with variable products and stock handling@lorro and i haven’t looked into the way woocommerce handles the stock, but the order does make a difference in my case, but it might just be the theme i am using. The order basically sets a priority, so i can choose between letting the customer buy more shirts or more tickets for a certain city than available. Just wanted to mention this here in case someone stumbles upon this thread in the future

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Problem with variable products and stock handling@lorro sadly that’s not an option as we sell these shirts ONLY in combination with a ticket… Damn… to be fair though, the interface kinda makes it look like these things would work. And when people buy the product the stock actually reduces as expected, it’s just that it can get below zero…
Is there any way to suggest this as a feature to the woocommerce guys? To me this seems to be critical

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Problem with variable products and stock handlingyour problem seems to be totally unrelated, but here’s how you do it (i am using the german version, so terms might different): Once you created the attributes you want you go to the tab that says “variations”. There you add a variation for every attribute and set the sku and stock.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Problem with variable products and stock handlingThanks to much for your response!
That’s too bad… we do need the shirts stock to be managed as well… Does the order of the variations make any difference? I just move the city variations above the shirt ones and it seems to work now
