TIL that this block is something at the host level. My host is DigitalOcean.

I downloaded the rename-xml-rpc plugin (see https://apps.wordpress.com/support/#faq-ios-12) which unfortunately shows as not updated for last 3 major WP releases!

I renamed my xmlrpc at my WP root (I used Filezilla). Then I followed install instructions at https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/rename-xml-rpc/#installation i.e. by changing the name of xmlrpc variable (in the plugin’s php file) to match my new xmlrpc name.

I installed and activated the plugin. Now I am able to proceed to user name/ password of the login in the mobile app.

This is what I did:

Cleared my WP Super Cache plugin’s cache and then removed it for good measure!

Cleared my mobile cache/ dalvik cache blah blah (in fact I reformatted my android device)

I still got the same broken page on mobile device. Then I decided to try the Mobile Smart plugin and still the same issue.

I then removed wptouch and voila Mobile Smart was redirecting me to my alternate mobile theme. I am wondering if there is any kind of cache that wptouch generates, which needs to be cleared as well.

I still love their mobile them and would be willing to try out any possible suggestions from their team.

Removed the caching plugins in my blog; followed steps suggested. Still the same result. Is there any trace of cache persistent still? How do I id this myself?

Sorry for the late response. I’ve got 1 twitter & Facebook accounts. There is one page configured under FB.I guess I meant expanding manage pages.

Alex, the beta 3.0 broke my site (WP 3.2.1). Error I got:
Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in <PATH>functions.php on line 1526

This is what I did:
I went to my profiles–>expanded FB and selected my FB page and hit the update button.

One qsn to the intensedebate team (pretty much a rant) – this looks like an error that would have affected almost every single blog that upgraded to 2.9.1! Minor update or major – please test!!

Same issue in my blog too.

I use multi site enabled wp 3.1.1 and re-captcha is latest version. This is the site I am trying to activate it.
