In reply to: Plugins page is stripped of installed plugins! You are right! This is an interesting change.
Just curious – what is the purpose of the usual plugins location now (I mean the one under Site Admin)? Will it be removed in a later version.
It is also not possible to reach the settings of individual plugins from under network admin; I have to install it under network admin–>switch over to site admin to see settings! Seems like an unnecessary step.
But thanks anyways for the very quick response.
I guess the 2nd message is known to the author as it is mentioned in his blog that uninstall is currently painful! So it is probably only the first issue which needs to be looked into!
If this assumption is incorrect then probably the second issue I’ve mentioned is a new bug too!
Same here. Wish there is an option to have it enabled even in multisite or at least in case of WP 3.0 allow us to enable it on a per site basis!

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] AJAX effect for lightboxHi,
I did the changes in those two lines and put the ngg.js in the js folder of my theme (I use K2).I added this line to the k2-hook-up (plugin) header portion:
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”<?php bloginfo(‘template_directory’); ?>/js/ngg.js”></script>
Didn’t seem to work! Any suggestions?
Thanks,

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Slideshow Stopped Working??Try https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/smoothgallery/
If you want it working with latest (ver 1 beta) of next gen, comment/ rmv these lines (under Restrictions) in smoothGallery.php i.e. till the author comes up with a newer version.
This wud be closer to slideshow (without the fancy effects) and is likely to work in mobile phone browsers as well!

https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/193253It helped me. Basically recall if you posted using MS-Word Paste in your WP anytime recently. Then open that post in HTML view of your WP and delete whatever crap MS has pasted right above your post.
That’s it. Hope this helps.
