Just a heads up, if you’ve purchased a LifterLMS add-on or subscription via LifterLMS.com you should not post here. Instead, open a new support request from your LifterLMS.com account dashboard.
That said, there are a couple things that could be causing the email not to send. The first thing you will want to check is if the notifications are turned on to send to students. You can do this under LifterLMS->Settings->Notifications.
If they are turned on to send to students then you will want to make sure that they are not getting sent to a spam folder.
We have additional information on email issues and troubleshooting here: https://lifterlms.com/docs/a-guide-to-understanding-and-fixing-email-issues-in-lifterlms/ with a link to an email check plugin that will help determine if all emails are not going out or just LifterLMS ones.

Unfortunately, no there no way to assign the certificate retroactively.
However, that said you can recreate the trigger if you go into LifterLMS->Reporting->Student->(the student in question)->Course. This will show you a page where you can mark the last lesson incomplete and then mark it complete again as the admin.
If you take these steps you should be able to trigger the certificate manually on the back end.

I won’t have an ETA on when this would be released, but I can certainly add this as a feature request to change the formatting or provide the option on date/time formatting! From there our developers can review implementing this build!

We are in the process of rebuilding the certificate system as a whole! So, this is definitely something that I’m sure the development team will take a look at!
For now, if you change the image size this should not have any negative affect on the images for the certificate!
If you have customized margins for the certificate content these might shift slightly, but you should then be able to correct those in the certificate builder.

Unfortunately, there is no way to set this up so that the course only relies on the final lesson in order to be complete without the previous lessons also being marked complete.
You could hide the mark complete buttons and then go through the reporting screen: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-can-i-mark-a-lesson-complete-or-incomplete-for-my-student/ when the user approve the questionnaire which will make it so users don’t have to do the mark complete themselves.

This set up with quizzes is not currently something we have available, however it definitely is on our roadmap for development and is something that will get build. I just don’t have an ETA for when that will be.
For now, the only way to clone and duplicate quizzes is inside the LifterLMS Builder.

1. The Notification Icons are the pop ups that show up when you, for example, complete a course. You can see these under LifterLMS->Settings->Notifications under any of the Basic settings options. The Certificate Background image is just that, the background image for the certificates in Engagements->Certificates.
2. This was part of the build for certificates. It wasn’t designed to be used for multiple purposes, it was designed only for the certificate builder in mind. The same logic for the Notification Icons. They were designed to specifically fit that setting.
3. In what context? You can technically override any of the image settings, but if you can tell me a little more about what you want to do specifically I can point you in the best direction for accomplishing that!

This should help with the sizes of the containers. You may want to change and adjust the width and height settings to get the appropriate proportions.

We do not have a way to edit or open the quiz outside of the LifterLMS builder at this time, so the code in that documentation is the best way to allow some customization!

That said, we don’t really have a way to pre-sell courses without setting up open registration or open course dates. There is no way to do the kind of rolling pre-sale set up for future access.
