Hi @narae25,
You should be able to use Elementor templates with courses!
There are a couple settings you will want to check first!
Under Elementor->Settings make sure that all of the LifterLMS post types you will want to use the templates with are checked and save. So, in this case you want to make sure you have courses enabled to register with Elementor.
Then in your templates you want to have a Single template type, you can edit this in Elementor and you should see a screen upon saving that lets you set conditionals to show on all course post types.
Alternatively, I believe Elementor templates come with short codes that you should be able to add to the course page itself in the editor!
I hope this helps!
Please let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi @mvktg,
We have some information here on debugging a white screen: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-debug-a-white-screen/
Can you turn these settings on and send us the error messages that show up? This will help us better pinpoint where this issue is coming from!
Please let us know if you have any questions about this setting!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @dr_dad,
I’m sorry you’re having this issue!
When I click on the course I am carried to the course page, but without the “free” plan access.
This is likely because you’ve already enrolled so you would not be shown the access plan when testing from a logged in view point again.
But, when I access it I’m taken to the course page, but none of the videos can be accessed.
Does it tell you that you need to be logged in to access the lessons in the course? If so this may very well be a caching issue. If you can provide us with your System Report: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-use-the-lifterlms-system-report/ (When posting your report, please follow the www.ads-software.com forum guidelines for posting code: https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#i-need-to-post-code-is-that-okay ) we can get a better idea of what’s going on that would cause this.
For the other three topical course pages, I will use the shortcode but change the course category name, respectively.
Can you link us to the other pages that should be on the GCLC’s Courses tab so we can take a look at them?
If they are not courses then using the shortcode won’t work, you would have to select the pages from the lefthand sidebar options under Appearance->Menu.
Please let us know if you have any questions about any of these steps!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @8574225123s,
If you happen to be using Astra theme there is a setting in the Customize setting under the LifterLMS tab allows you to change the number of columns for courses and memberships.
Otherwise you can do this by following the steps in this documentation: https://lifterlms.com/docs/can-change-number-columns-displayed-course-membership-catalog/
I hope this helps!
Please let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi @lefan93,
We do have to randomize question orders if you go into the quiz settings, there is a toggle that will allow you to enable that setting.
We do not have a question bank setting as of yet. This is on our future roadmap for development, but is not currently available!
I apologize for the inconvenience!

Hi @aryanrajseo,
We’re so glad yo hear you like LifterLMS!
In this code template you will want to edit this line: https://github.com/gocodebox/lifterlms/blob/5833b0d8e90783bd13300ed1b136183d5674a0b0/templates/course/lesson-preview.php#L30
Specifically, remove this part “of %2$d” to only show the number and not the number of how many lessons.
There is more information here on editing templates if you need it: https://lifterlms.com/docs/lifterlms-templates/
I hope this helps!
Please let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi @mr-wood,
I’m sorry you’re having this issue!
Are you by chance using any kind of caching plugin? This may be causing the quiz to load an outdated view of the button without the change on it.
If you can send us your system report: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-use-the-lifterlms-system-report/ following WordPress’s posting guide: https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#i-need-to-post-code-is-that-okay we can also take a look at any other components that may be contributing to the lack of front end recognition.

Thanks and take care,
Are you trying to get the lessons on a prerequisite system or a drip system where students only get courses on certain days or if a previous lesson was completed?
I apologize for the confusion! If you don’t mind providing us with a bit of further clarification on the set up you are trying to achieve we are more than happy to tell you the best way to accomplish it!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @sometimesgabs,
Yes there is a way to do this!
If you open the lesson with the quiz on it in the LifterLMS Builder, there is an option on the lesson settings to “Require Passing Grade for Quiz” This setting will lock the lesson so that students must pass the quiz before advancing.
I hope this helps!

Hi @jurasjo,
Are the recreation steps Thomas laid out above the correct steps you’re taking to encounter this issue?
If you can also provide us with your system report: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-use-the-lifterlms-system-report/ following WordPress’s guidelines for posting: https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#i-need-to-post-code-is-that-okay this will give us a better idea of if there are any third party plugins that could be influencing this error code.
Any additional screenshots or information about the set up of the quizzes and the steps you took to encounter this error will be helpful for us to recreate it!
Let us know if you have any questions about this process or providing the above information!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @80nine,
You can certainly do this if you like!
However, even if users/non-users were able to find the links to restricted content like lessons on Google they would not be able to access the content without being logged in or registering. LifterLMS does this sort of restriction automatically!
I hope this helps!
Please let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi @rastgarian,
I’m sorry you’re having this issue!
Do you have any custom achievements set in your LifterLMS engagements area? If so, can you send us some screenshots (through dropbox/google drive/imagur links) of the settings for those engagements? Additionally, did you have any that were recently deleted?
Could you also please copy and paste your system report: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-use-the-lifterlms-system-report/ using the code tags https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#i-need-to-post-code-is-that-okay so we can make sure there’s no conflicts or system requirements that could be causing this!
Let us know if you have any questions about finding this information!

Hi @5lions,
You can definitely always edit the permalink if you go in to edit the courses and on the right hand side under Permalink change the slug.
However, I think what you’re more looking to do is go under LifterLMS->Settings->Courses and unset the default course page. Then you will just want to manually add the course catalog to any menus without setting it to the courses setting.
I hope this helps!
Please let us know if you have any further questions!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @5lions,
With the shortcode you will actually want to set the order options within the shortcode using these settings: https://lifterlms.com/docs/shortcodes/#lifterlms_courses
The LifterLMS settings are for the preset courses page under that setting which automatically displays the course catalog. Pages using the shortcode are not affected by that main setting.
I hope this helps!
Please let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi @haly321212,
Yes there is!
If you go to your LifterLMS->Settings->Account and scroll down you will find an option to disable open registration. https://lifterlms.com/docs/open-registration/
There is no way to disable login! However, you can get around this by not having the dashboard on the main menu or only visible to logged in users. The Student Dashboard is the page in LifterLMS that acts as a login, so hiding it will allow your authentication to take over as the entry point.
I hope this helps!
