Hi @0rbita,
On your course page do you have the option to show custom sales content on that page?
If so, if you turn off the option to show the sales content does it allow the main content on that page to be hidden?
I am able to recreate the issue under those settings, so if you could let us know if this is what you are seeing as well, or how we can set up a test course page to look the same as the way you have your set up we can do some further testing to see about getting this resolved for you!
Let us know if you have any questions about finding this information!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @buyung2,
Unfortunately, at this time we don’t have a quiz bank that will draw randomized questions like this.
You can use the same question on two different quizzes however, by choosing to add an existing question to a new quiz it will create a clone.
However, that would be done manually on the back end, not from a quiz pool that functions dynamically for students.
I apologize for the inconvenience!
Please let us know if you have any further questions!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @0rbita,
That is very strange! (Though also kind of sounds like there was server side caching that you were not being told about, which would explain why the fresh install has changes that should be seen with the updates on the normal site.)
We are definitely happy to help anyway we can! Can you send us the System Report from the new site (and if the one on the other ticket for the original site is outdated that one as well) so we can look through the system setting for differences?
Let us know if you have any further questions in the mean time!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @0rbita,
No worries, I un-resolved it!
Thank you for the screenshot. I ran a quick test to try and recreate the issue and wanted to check a few things with you!
In your MySQL files did you change all three settings for the course and user? Not just the _enrollment_trigger date but also the _start_date and the _status date?
If not can you make sure all three of those dates have been changed and then do a hard refresh when you log in as the student to make sure the changes took place: https://refreshyourcache.com/en/cache/
Let us know if you need any help with this process and if the issue persists!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @0rbita,
Thank you for the code!
The code looks correct and should be working, however can you try adding this shortcode in place of the syllabus that is currently there to see if this will hide it for logged out users:
[lifterlms_hide_content][lifterlms_course_syllabus][/lifterlms_hide_content]
Let us know if this works for you!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @0rbita,
Can you send us screenshots of the drip features you have set up to delay it for five weeks? Was this on the lessons page for the first course or do you have dates set up for course open on the course page itself?
Additionally, you might find this plugin useful for swapping between accounts instead of having to log out and get your users’ emails: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/user-switching/ and on another slightly unrelated note I did notice you have your orders set to staging: https://lifterlms.com/docs/staging-sites-lifterlms-recurring-payments/ If you have recurring payments set up for courses you will want to get your orders set back to live from staging.
Let us know if you have any questions about this information!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @0rbita,
Yes, I can see the issue you are talking about!
If you click on the three vertical dots in the upper right hand corner and change the view of the course editor from Visual to Code, can you send us a screenshot of the code in the course editor so we can look for what is preventing the visibility from functioning properly?
Let us know if you have any questions about finding this setting!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @0rbita,
I’m confused here has the caching issue been resolved?
You say here: And about the student that was seeing an older version of my website yesterday… she sent me another video to check out cookies and she is now seeing the current version.
So is the student now getting served the proper version of the site?
This: The date was changed when accessing the course builder.
But when tried to access the course itself, logged in as this student, the date class would be available was only november. I see you’ve opened another thread for so we will investigate that further on that support thread. In terms of the caching issue, as I’m sure you’ve seen in Thomas’s reply in the other thread, LifterLMS doesn’t have anything that controls or sets caching. If you have all caching turned off, your hosting company has confirmed all caching is turned off then the best option would be to ask them to have a systems admin / devops person look into this further since the caching is happening at a server level which LifterLMS does not have any control over.
That said, if your hosting company really doesn’t have any developers that can look into this we do have a list of developers you could reach out to that are in good standing with LifterLMS here: https://lifterlms.com/experts/ that may be able to search out this problem for you.
Let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi @dennishall,
I’m sorry you’re having this issue!
Thank you for the recreation details! However, we were not able to recreate this on our test sites! Could you provide us with you System Report: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-use-the-lifterlms-system-report/ (following WordPress’s guide for code: https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#i-need-to-post-code-is-that-okay) so we can review further details that may be affecting the course catalog?
That said, the number of courses you have set to display in the course catalog should not be affecting the Student Dashboard. Can you send us some screenshots of the issue you’re seeing on the Student Dashboard with pagination?
Additionally, if you prefer to use the shortcode ( https://lifterlms.com/docs/shortcodes/#lifterlms_courses ) you can change the orderby option to arrange by: ID, author, title, name, date, modified, rand, or menu_order.
Let us know if you have any questions about finding any of the above information for us!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @0rbita,
Can you turn off all plugins besides your LifterLMS plugin and see if this solves the issue for the student? If so, then that tells us it is related to one of the other plugins that is affecting the system as well.
Additionally, can you have your student clear their local cache following these guidelines: https://refreshyourcache.com/en/cache/
Let us know if you have any questions about this information!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @kate460,
Thank you for the screenshot! However, the system report is saying access denied in google docs so I’m not able to see it.
However, from the screenshot it looks like this could be related to a theme issue. Can you tell us which theme you’re using so we can try and recreate it?
Additionally, if you could send us a screenshot of the CSS on that page: https://lifterlms.com/docs/css-structure/ we can try and provide a workaround to the spacing issue!
Let us know if you have any further questions!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @simeonmeder,
I’m sorry you’re having this issue!
Can you please provide us with a copy of your system report: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-use-the-lifterlms-system-report/ following the WordPress guidelines for adding code: https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#i-need-to-post-code-is-that-okay
This will help us get a better sense of what’s going on site wide and if there are any potential conflicts that could have arisen after you updated your site!
Let us know if you have any questions about passing along this information!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @charfsys,
I’m sorry you’re having this issue!
So we can better investigate what’s going on can you please provide us with a system report. When sending the System Report please use WordPress’s guide line for submitting code!
Additionally, if you can either link us to the page you’re seeing this issue or sends us screenshots of inspector for the CSS on that page and any Javascript errors you see that would be helpful as well!
Let us know if you have any questions about relaying this information to us!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @hanygamal,
I’m sorry you’re having this issue!
Could you please provide to us your LifterLMS System Report: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-use-the-lifterlms-system-report/ using WordPress’s guidelines for posting code: https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#i-need-to-post-code-is-that-okay
This will help up diagnose the issue and hopefully get you a solution!
Let us know if you have any questions about providing this information!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @80nine,
I’m sorry you’re having this issue!
There are instructions here on how to remove the post navigation links that are allowing students to see the other courses:
https://wpastra.com/docs/how-to-remove-previous-and-next-link-from-single-blog-post/
I hope this helps!
Please let us know if you see the issue persisting!
Thanks and take care,
