Hi @chunhoong467,
I apologize for the delay in response!
The next troubleshooting step we recommend at this point is turning off all other plugins temporarily to see if the issue is resolved. If it is, then you’ll want to turn the plugins back on one by one until you see it reappear.
This will help rule out plugin conflicts or what plugin the conflict is coming from.
Let us know if this helps or if you need further assistance!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @0rbita,
Unfortunately, in this case you are going to have to unenroll the old students manually and then reenroll them in the course, or just manually update their status to enrolled.
If I’m understanding your set up correctly, what’s happening is that the old student’s enrollment trigger is from the limited three month course. So, if they were enrolled later in the membership without their old enrollment being cancelled then there was no new enrollment trigger which means they won’t have access.
I apologize for the inconvenience here! One thing that might help is that under Course A’s student management you will be able to see what the enrollment trigger was to help differentiate between membership enrollment vs course enrollment.
Let us know if you have further questions!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @ilse88,
We’re happy to help you with this issue!
The first note is that when you look at any of the pages as an Admin Account you will see the content regardless of permissions. Are you testing this with a student role account and still encountering the issue?
If so, can you provide us with a couple pieces of information that will help us diagnose the issue? The LifterLMS System report: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-use-the-lifterlms-system-report/ is helpful to us, and there’s information here on how you can post it: https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#i-need-to-post-code-is-that-okay
Additionally, if you can provide us screenshots of the set up you have for bbPress in LifterLMS and the results you’re getting when you set up what should be a restricted page that would be helpful for us as well. You will have to post a link to any images or videos using a service like: Dropbox, Drive, Imgur, CloudUp, YouTube, etc…
Let us know if you have any further information about the set up expectations or have any further questions about this issue!
Thanks and take care,

Hi @chunhoong467,
One other issue I can see is that your PHP is out of date with our System Requirements. In fact, 7.1 is going to be phased out this December and WordPress 5.2 will not let you update plugins that are not on the plugin’s supported PHP so, you will not be able to update LifterLMS to the most recent version.
There is more information on this here: https://lifterlms.com/docs/minimum-system-requirements-lifterlms/
You can try to have your host update your PHP to the most recent version and see if this solves the loading issue.
If the issue persists even on the most recent PHP, let us know and we will continue to help find a solution for you!
Let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi @hamlet237,
I’m sorry you’re having this issue!
Would you mind sharing the code you’re modified for custom registration so we can take a look at why could be causing this issue?
You can share code with this method: https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#i-need-to-post-code-is-that-okay
We’re happy to take a look and get this solved for you!

Hi @prwilliam,
I’m sorry you’re having this issue!
When you say you set the redirect on the course setting, do you mean in the access plan settings, at the bottom of the access plan information?
If you could send us screenshots that would be very helpful to give us a sense of the set up and allow us to check configurations to try and recreate the error on test sites. You will have to send us links to the screenshots through services like: Dropbox, Drive, or Imgur.
Additionally, if you could send us your system report that would be helpful as well. Before you post it feel free to edit out any site/email information you do not want made public. There is information on the system report here: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-use-the-lifterlms-system-report/ and how to post it here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#i-need-to-post-code-is-that-okay
Let us know if you have any questions about finding this information!

Hi @godfreedom,
I’m sorry you’re having this issue!
Could you post a copy of your LifterLMS System Report along with your question. https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-to-use-the-lifterlms-system-report/ When posting your report, please follow the www.ads-software.com forum guidelines for posting code. https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum-user-guide/faq/#i-need-to-post-code-is-that-okay
Additionally, could you send is the shortcode you have on the home screen so we can check for configuration errors?
This will help us diagnose the issue more directly!
Let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi @aartjetwinkel,
I’m glad you got the redirect issue resolved!
As for logging in you can use LifterLMS Sign in pages: https://lifterlms.com/docs/how-a-student-can-log-in-and-out/
Or, if you have a navigation link to the Student Dashboard that would allow students to access the dashboard from anywhere on the site.
Let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi @mel4dia,
It could be related to a Javascript error. There is some information here on diagnosing Javascript errors: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis
If you could send us a screenshot or copy/paste us any Javascript issues you see we can help diagnose those.
Let us know if you find anything, and thank you for your patience getting this resolved!

Hi @chunhoong467,
We aren’t able to take access information on the forums!
However, for another solution we’ll want to rule out that it’s not a plugin conflict. You can do this by disabling all the pluigns on your site temporarily and see if this solves the issue. If so, then turn each one back on one by one until the issue returns.
I have a strong feeling it has something to do with Classic Editor. If you see the problem go away with Classic Editor turned off then it will be something in their settings you will have to look at.
Let us know if this helps locate the issue and we’ll go from there!
Thanks and take care,
Hi @monbro,
I’m glad you got that figured out!
Also, in regard the help pop up I will pass that along! Thank you for the feedback!

Hi @reelism,
LifterLMS is an eLearning management system, that allows you to build and sell courses.
There’s more information here: https://lifterlms.com/docs/lifterlms-free-paid/ and information on the free plugin here: https://lifterlms.com/docs/download-free-core-lifterlms-plugin/ if you want to test it out without paying for it.
I hope this helps.
Thanks and take care,
Hi @aartjetwinkel,
You don’t have to disable WooCommerce, though this is likely where the conflict is coming from.
You want to make sure that LifterLMS’s end point for Lost Password and WooCommerce’s end point for Lost Password are not the same.
If you go into LifterLMS->Settings->Account you will be able to change the Lost Password end point from there. You can also check WooCommerce’s under WooCommerce->Settings->Advanced
Setting those to different endpoints should solve the issue.
Let us know if you have further questions!

Hi @mel4dia,
Is this the only membership that this is happening on?
You could try to create a second membership for testing and see if you encounter the same issue with enrolling test students there as well.
If the issue is gone on the test membership then there may be something off about the configuration of the membership where you’re seeing this issue.
Are you able to test this or should we look for another troubleshooting option?
Thanks and take care,
Hi @dr_dad,
Awesome! I’m glad we’ve got those issues resolved.
So, for the final part. You can test this by incognito mode actually. If you are logged out, you can go to your course and you will see that anywhere the student tries to click they are informed they must be enrolled to access the course’s content.
You could add the Student Dashboard to the site menu to make logging in easier, and maybe a note that if you’re already enrolled you must go log in. However, if someone were to click enroll they will be given the option to login from the enrollment page.
I hope this helps!
