In reply to: [Jupiter X Core] Broke my website :(Thanks for the reply, Pedro, I appreciate you trying to help solve my issue. That answer did not work for me. I deactivated the Jupiter X Core plugin, then deleted it, then re-installed it, activated it, and then updated the parent Jupiter X theme. Still crashes when I try to access the Jupiter X dashboard. And the link with the answer kind of highlights why Jupiter X should not be downloaded by anyone. The answer to this issue is so vague, there is no mention of HOW to do any of the steps suggested. And to make matters worse, when I did delete and reinstall the plugin, I now have a whole new Jupiter X problem that I didn’t even know existed. My public website now has a large white banner at the top of it with a text link that says “Skip to content”. The link has my site’s URL followed by “/#jupiterx-main”. I found a possible solution in a forum about editing the CSS to remove it, but as I said, this just highlights why people should not do business with Jupiter X/Artbees.
For anyone that doesn’t want to click the link in Pedro’s response, here is the answer from the Artbees support team rep, Alexander Hutsol, responding to a poster that said their entire site crashed:
—Hello there, We are really sorry you got such issues. There was an error with the Jupiter X Core plugin archive, which is already fixed. To fix the problem you need to rename the jupiterx-core plugin folder via FTP (or remove the jupiterx-core folder directly via FTP), so you’ll be able to login to WP Dashboard, then remove the plugin in WP Dashboard > Plugins and just re-install it again via the Appearance > Jupiter X section. Regards

It is not clear if the support answer is responding to the original poster’s issue of their website being completely down or if this is a solution for everyone. I can access my WP dashboard, so I assumed the part they wrote about renaming the folder via FTP in order to access their WP dashboard isn’t necessary for my situation. I honestly can’t tell if Alexander just used poor sentence structure to write his answer, or if I’m just too inexperienced to understand. For example, since when do you re-install a plugin in the Appearance section? Are they saying re-install the theme? The parent? The child?
