finally figured it out, I added this to dashboard>appearance>customize> additional CSS

nav#nav-main {background-color: #5D91BF;}

After I posted I believe you meant the title of the post on your home page? as in this word “Св?ж? пости”?

when signed in and viewing that page,look up at the top admin bar and you will see “edit page”. Page will open to edit and you will see the title there…. once changed be sure to Update with the button at the top right.

If you scroll a little more on the page you have shown, you will see; Site Tagline – Below Logo

OR

To change the site title go to Dashboard>Settings>General

To change Tagline go to Dashboard>Appearance>Customize>Main Settings>Site Tagline – Below Logo

Everything worked perfectly and I was able to add the site copyright in the widget area.

Lets try this again, I apologize for not knowing the proper terms for what exactly is involved. I have put a link to the image again.

When an event is posted, (https://oamig.org/special-events/) There is a string generated as to the category it was posted in (” posted in: Events | 0 “) This is the font which needs to be increased.

That works perfectly!

I have been getting the same and the email address that it seems to say it is having an issue in sending is wordpress@______ (my domain name).
I cannot figure where this is coming from. I did a test send on contact form to see if the person contacting gets the responder as well as i get the message and I do…I am wondering if an update was recent that this issue happened for I didnt have this issue before and no settings have changed.

When I had did the latest WP update in having the CSS plug I was using stopped; it was a plug that has been around but no updates or movement on their forum for over a year. It was a quick maneuvering to get the main line menu up to snuff again since I had used the CSS you had shared to place the main menu under the site wide banner to help alleviate scrolling.

While digging through plugins I had come across a post about the WP sticky. Once again knowing I needed CSS dug into plugs further, found simple CSS and then tried sticky menu and bam YAY it solved the problem.

I must say using the sticky menu, I had to learn how to use the web tool on a browser to find what the name of the menu was exactly called. What a learning curve!! but grateful I used the resources available to learn. It certainly opens my eyes to more of wordpress and how it functions.

So grateful for all your work here and your experience in helping us newbies.

I know when I first tried I kept clearing the cache over n over n didnt see anything. When it hadn’t worked I had disabled everything, so in seeing your post tried it again and YAY both the font and the facebook icon increased. Thank you so much Hannah!!!
Now that I think of it, since the wp upgrade and having issue with a plug in etc,(seen 24 hours afterwards, I learned that I have a plug that sometimes changes take time to be seen due to the php being rewritten etc and a delay can be evident. This must have been what was happening.

I placed what you have into simple css and it placed the menu down into the first paragraph of the post. I tried altering the 100px and it was a no go, not sure if there is a number to change or another add? I placed the top like the other menu thinking well maybe… nope …. nada.

I know i had to delete simple css plug for my site to function. It saddens me for i have used this plug for last few years.
