In reply to: [WP Shortcodes Plugin — Shortcodes Ultimate] Tooltip 5.10.0 behaviour changesThe “behaviour” tag is not working at all for me anymore. I’ve had it working with the “hover” behavior for months, but after updating all tooltips are open as soon as the page loads. Changing it to “click” doesn’t change anything. Won’t be updating the plugin until this is fixed.

In reply to: [Related Posts by Taxonomy] Remove author name from excerptAh, I just realized that. If I enter an excerpt manually it doesn’t show the author. Thanks for getting back to me… great plugin!

In reply to: [Category Posts Widget] Random category?Hi Daniel,
Thanks for getting back to me! Perhaps I wasn’t clear enough in my question… I want to show only one category, but I want that category to be randomly chosen. So the first time I load the page, the sidebar will be populated with posts from just from the “Fish” category; the next time I load the page it might be the “Birds” category… always just one category, but which category is random. Ideally, the category name would go into the title bar, just as it does when a category is manually chosen.Choosing All Categories with a random sort order will show a number of categories sorted randomly, no?
I’m having the same issue.. WP v4.8, Genesis Magazine child theme. I don’t want the sidebar on the archive pages, just on single post pages for specific categories. It was working fine before updating.
Thanks for your help

I wasn’t seeing that, but your comment inspired me to look at the page settings, where I found the option to add a “Booking Date” column to the Recent Bookings list.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Genesis Responsive Slider] Excerpt not responsive? All I meant by my statement is that in searching through the forums, every time someone asks this question, it seems the answer is that it’s a problem that needs to be addressed in the theme, and that it won’t be addressed in this forum.
The suggestions you offered in your response are really all I was looking for in a response… some idea of what can be done about it.
Hiding the excerpt once the responsive kicks in would be an acceptable solution, and it works well in the link you provided; I have some ability in CSS, but I’m not sure how to go about that. The response from Andrea suggested an even better solution from my point of view, which would be to make the font size smaller as the responsiveness kicked in, but I’m not sure what that code would look like either…
I realize it’s not your responsibility to educate your users in CSS, but it’s not unheard of for developers to suggest a code snippet that might solve users’ problems; if you have anything like that, I’d appreciate it!

In reply to: [Genesis Responsive Slider] Excerpt not responsive? As noted, I am using a StudioPress theme. It’s not just mobile devices that are the issue, it’s any time the browser window is resized down beyond a certain (but not unreasonable) point.
And I still fail to see how making the text responsive in a supposedly responsive plugin is not a topic for plugin support. Perhaps the plugin would be more accurately named “Genesis Somewhat Responsive Slider”.
